If you were being abused or lied to in real life, would you stay with them?

If you know there is zero chance that your forum complaints will actually change the pending December update, why do you threaten and complain?

Fact is, this time last week there were about 25,000 more playing New World than there are now (as I write, about 158,000 last week same time and today 126,000; a 20% week over week decline).

My company quit. The December update will go through. There is no amount of complaining that will make them change their mind. You can continue to grovel with them, or have some self respect. It’s not like once you leave you can never return.

If you like the game and the way they are treating you, then i’m happy for you.

It’s called “Battered Wife Syndrome” and unfortunately it is a real condition that too many people have now a days.

People are still hoping the former glory of this game they loved will somehow return.
