Have Tier3 Azoth Staff and no quests to increase

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I realized that I have a Tier3 Azoth Staff as level 60 and do not remember being offered the quests to increase the staff. Checked all inventories to confirm no staff greater than 3.

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Look in inventory and only see tier 3 staff and not quests to increase. I see that quest for the 4th staff starts with Rima, but Rima cannot be found.

Our apologies on the long time it has taken to get a response on this topic and I am also sorry to hear you are having difficulty increasing your Azoth Staff’s tier.

I can confirm you will indeed be needing to talk to Rima Bahar in order to upgrade from tier three to four but you will not find the NPC in Cutlass Keys anymore. You need to be at least level 50, to have completed the quests named “Forge Your Azoth Staff” (tier 1), “Covenant Commitment” (tier 2), and “The Aliance” (tier 3), and then you will find Rima in the “Restless Shore Bar”. This will initiate the quest line “Race for the Box”, which will have you travel to Eldengrove.

Furthermore, for tier 5 you will need to complete “The Tempest’s Heart”, which requires level 60, and starts at Gristle in Shattered Mountain.
