Healer PVP Heavy armor - let's debate ;)

In the spirit of fostering a different perspective than the meta, I’ve made this build and actually played it: New World PVP Healer Heavy Armor Build | NewWorldFans.com

  • Heavy armor wth life staff
  • Optimizing for cooldown reduction via dodging
  • Tank 1-2 bruisers easily
  • CC with blunderbuss + resistance from skills benefits
  • 400 focus, 125 cons

Main reasoning: everyone gets 1 shot with bow musket spears → this one resists well to them, so that I can spam healing on my bruisers and tanks in OPR and 3v3. The 60% loss of healing compared to light armor is actually not that big taking into account cooldown reduction and survivability → if people focus me, they will have a hard time. If they don’t, I can heal in mass + orb of protection with fortify really helps the others non-stop with low cooldown. In general, it feels like a great outcome for people who are not Pro-Gamer-Master with rolling non-stop with burst of healing at the perfect timing. Also this build is actually very nice in Expeditions from what I experienced so far, given that most mobs are DPS and not large burst dmg.

replace a healer with this and you will have bad heals, replace a DPS/tank with this and you will have an ineffecient tank
