FS/IG, kind of surprised you’re not worried about any melee jumping on your face and devouring it.
As any DPS I’ve never had a problem with a full spec healer. Sure I might not kill them, but they’ve never killed me. (And I kill them more often than not after some attrition)
Usually the problem is more if they’ve bought or are willing to use infused potions in OPR. A huge potion heal is crazy strong. I’d almost argue that’s the tipping point that makes some healers unkillable. But is also makes any big brute or strong mobility player very hard to kill. Maybe we should think about potions impact on the game.
I’d also argue FS/IG is a little weak right now more than healing is overpowered.
I tried a full focus build too, simply not viable in light in PvP. 200 Con is great, the 20% armor ties into the 100 pip and increases your base health further. The 20% reduction to critical strike damage is two full sets of pvp gear worth of resilient.
I think my heals are quite adequate too when specced/geared properly, I tend to get 1# most OPR’s.
Have you ever played against VG/LS heavy users? I’ve seen duels where the healer don’t dodge, misses all skills, even get pushed out of healing areas and still cant get killed by full geared all kind of dps. A lot of them can even just tank and heal the damage from groups of people just because the low cds on the singletargeted heals that they can pop on them plus pots. It’s not a get good situation, is a clear disbalance between the selfhealing/dmg a healer does and the dmg/selfhealing every dps class can make.
You die to the healer ? If yes Just buy a healing potion. Still dyng ? Git gud

Of course. In 1v1 the healer will survive
cant say much about using the new perks but killing a decent healer running Heavy is still extremely hard to the point that even they know its a meme and start laughing.
if they run light gear then killing them is not that big of a deal, if they run medium is annoying but still doable but heavy is just another dimension all together.
Healers are fine atm, could actually use a few buffs after all the nerfs they put through to trash them.
At this point it might be a learn to play issue tbh, try getting better at the game because personally I think it might be a problem with you if you’re struggling to kill healers, perhaps a change in weapons too.
The new perks that give negative healing are more than enough, more people just need to use them.
from my personal experience playing healer it’s usually fairly easy to dodge bad players and most weapons and players will have predictable attacks, patterns, combos, etc.
I ve mained healer since launce. You can play heavy as good as light with hammer, the ccs and the roll carry you a good amount. To say heavy healer is too strong is no longer the argumet after 1.1. They introduced the void gauntlet. If i play heavy and 2-3 ppl attack me, one with void i m pretty much dead. Once i get rooted in Nullifying Oblivion i m gone. My sacred groung gets canceled out and i loose all my buffs. Void is a hard counter for heavy healing
Going from nearly dead (<20% health) to full health instantly every few seconds is bad game design. I think light’s embrace is a big part of the problem. Just make it so you can only use light’s embraced on other players, but not yourself.
friend, with all respect, the healler is not to be killed with just a left click spam or non-strategy combat. his job is to survive and keep the group alive, so it has to be difficult to kill the healler. I play sword and warhammer, I have several stuns and disease perk just to kill healler. the life staff has already been well nerfed and we’ve gained two great perks to cut a cure, so it’s a matter of knowing how to fight it
So to kill hear you need 2-3 ppl and at least 1 of them have to use VG? And you think its normal. No its not.
Im sad watching healers not care to avoid dmg, they jsut stand and face tank all dmg. All other weapons force you to think and to avoid dmg, why life staff has to be special? I mean healers shouold be hard to kill but not to the point, where they dont care about other ppl trying to kill them lol.
Yeah i think it is normal to need 2 ppl to kill a healer and some sort of counter measures to ease the job. Seems balanced to me.
Btw i as a healer, be it light or heavy can t just facetank 2 good DDs. Guys with Atribute food, battlebread, honing stones who have armor with weapon perks and good weapons (vicous enchanted etc). But i can facetank 4 noobs who only left click, no weapon perks or consumables and why shouldn t i?
So you feel you should be able to 1v1 and win against everyone? You are claiming to be that good?
Why are you so offended by healers that you need them to do minimal damage and minimal healing?
