Healing feels awful now

Also the fact that If someone is ever remotely close to you and you try to dash away with leaping strike it will just target the person even if they’re legit perpendicular to where you’re aiming. I was totally fine with how it was before. Both leaping strike and grav well should just be reverted. This was such a great patch otherwise, but leaping really feels bad and I just don’t even know what they were thinking with grav well, it’s just ridiculously unfun to play against. Like is that really the gameplay we want? just chain stacking grav wells in clumps with zero counterplay?

i totaly agree healer nerfed in every patch and many healers allready left. Thats main problem in this game. All the time they nerfing and ppl left cause of mad to devs. instead of nerfing buff others.

Last opr this happens in ~10 seconds (!):

  1. dodged first Grav with dodge roll
  2. dodged 2. Grav with this rapier step
  3. dodged 3. Grav with rapier charge
  4. got caught in 4. Grav and died.

Honest inquiry: is it not possible to have rapier as your secondary weapon?

Healers have actually a number of nerfs almost in every patch.

I feel squishier than ever as a healer in light armor after the patch.
If any WH user CCs me, I’m dead for sure, since I get immobilized for enough time to be hit by two heavy attacks, which obliterate me from full health to zero. Always.
And I have over 11k health.

However, at the same time, this patch has buffed light dodge roll like crazy. I am squirrelier than ever. If I am full stamina, I can go thru an entire enemy zerg rolling my way to the other side and live to tell it.

Light healer has become a much riskier role, since you cannot afford to be a “healing turret” at all. You need to be always like a nervous little critter evading incoming musket and bow fire, and dodging WH and GA crod control abilities.

To be honest playing light healer was never the meta. It was always too risky to play. I have also some guildmates who are playing light, but if you´re the focus target, you´re dead. I´m playing medium and it feels much tankier.

And lastly, the incentive of being on top of the scoreboard, which is the only thing that kept me from changing role, has also been taken away from me.

Playing role to be on top of scoreboard :open_mouth:

yep… do you just play OPR without any goal? Because everything I do is towards being number 1. I’m a pvp player and I am not ashamed to admit I pick a role that helps me get to the top, just like other players play the meta.

Just put light armor and stop facetanking solo 3-4 enemy players. Healing on opr is very bad. If there is 4-5 healers per team, no1 dies. Pvp heal has to be nerfed in fact. Right now healers are medium/heavy armor face tanking 3-4 enemy players and dont care. So we need to force healers to use light armor or rework how healing works in this game.

Sorry that not only healing gives points now, but damage too.

How dare they…healers are really a special kind of snowflake.
I wish they had not included healing in this game.

I play to win. Not to be top in scoreboard.

Like you said, you wear full elemental aversion and die while beeing rooted. Switch to onyx and physical aversion.
You arent rooted by mages with elemental dmg and if so then its with void blade, which also deals physical damage.
Theres no reason to have elemental aversion as a healer. You can easy outheal it

Good for you then. I play to be on top of the scoreboard.

Fully reasonable to rewrite the game so that it is more in line with your personal and specific goals.

Alternatively, change role to melee AOE damage dealer. Those are the ones usually ending up at the top of the scoreboard, since your goal isn’t to have fun or to be a team player, but to get a number 1 next to your name.

Guess what I have when I reach rank 1… that’s right. FUN.
Also I play healer. If that’s not a team-play role, I don’t know what is.
No hate here. Why so hostile.

I just don’t give a fuck anymore. I heal and heal and heal. I die most times because my team (including melee) will run from the enemy, at full health, running through my bubbles and not stopping to turn and fight, and that pissed me off so much that I just don’t run anymore. Whip out my secondary and annoy the enemy by running in circles and healing myself. I’ve survived 8-9 dudes for over a minute and I feel proud of it.

Once I get my 500, I’m satisfied. I don’t care about score. I don’t care how many deaths or kills I have. I’m not going to hinge my hopes on incompetent design when it gets worse after five months.

Problem is:
as a dps you can not count on being healed. That is why people run from stronger forces.
Also: you never know if a healing circle is from your own team or the enemy.
I have died countless times because I was standing in the wrong circle. From the enemy.
Solution: play in a premade group. You can communicate and heal your buddies. You will win more too.

I run it 150 dex/ 150 str 200 con.

With the con perk and taking the +20 vs grit, I like that I can mix it up a little in meele in addition to hunting ranged.
