Reduced Hearty Buff from 50% to 25% increase in health (per player feedback).
Just curious as to who from the community and how long ago people actually gave this feedback.
In a game with a very low time to kill in pvp already I can’t see this as something anyone asked for in the past 4 months of gameplay.
I believe it was to make it so these buffs feel less mandatory and open up more options for territory owners to run. Also it helps incentivize taking more CON and weakens glass cannons.
Some territories might be more likely to run more crafting bonuses? It also could be that they will be releasing more buff options in the future? Just some thoughts. No idea where this feedback came from though.
But taking more CON also means the amount of HP from the buff is greater…
Seems like they’re just reducing HP amounts all around. It’s quite easy to get a T1 house in one of the major settlements that will probably be running Hale and Hearty.
Meh, I never noticed when the buff was on to actually make a real difference. It’s probably a nerf to tanks/bruisers since DPS just run the lowest amount of con anyway.
Yeah was thinking about that but perhaps it’s more impactful at the lower end versus the upper end? Was my only thought to why they may have done it. Because at the upper end you are still outside of burst damage range but this makes it easier to burst squishies? Maybe?
I didn’t see anything in the brimstone notes about a baseline Health increase but I could have missed it, and the points about towns running other crafting buffs instead are quite valid.
It just feels like they listened to a very small apparently impactful minority on this feedback.
I simply cannot believe any large number of the player base gave feedback saying they wanted their max Health reduced.
It coming specifically with the brimstone release and all the changes just seems like bad timing. It will be easily possible for a 5 man group to output 14-20k burst damage over the course of 1-3 seconds after brimstone launches.
