Heavy armor needs to be nerfed

I agree, fix the bugs, then we’ll see where we are after that. Healers shouldn’t be wearing heavy period, and onyx gems shouldn’t be blocking all damage, Being a heavy armorer wearer as I am. I have the onyx gems full con, little strength and I’m getting owned by casters quite efficiently and I’m not on here bitching, cause we move slower, are dodge is quite taxing, and the light armor and med armor wearer’s keep they’re distance cause they are the smart ones, cause yes I would own them otherwise, And I’m Ok with that! cause that’s what they are SUPPOSED TO DO! LOL

100 damage is currently worth about 33% after mitigation
Fixing resilience will make that to about 50% instead - this is a 50% increase.

That already is your healing nerf, but in a working as intended method.

it only reduces dodge range, not mobility.

try to run and dodge in heavy, while someone in medium & light dodge alongside you running same direction. there is no real mobility difference and dodge length only makes a difference within certain pve fights.

so no there is currently no mobility penalty

Yes, this. You can turtle in, and be a tank. But people with light armor can run circles around you.

Well you’re getting your request to a point. They are reducing healing by 20% and buffing it for light and medium equipment loads by 15% and 30% respectively aka no heavy armor battle healers or lifestaffimals. Yes I copyrighted that word and yes I’m sad I cant be one anymore. Is it a positive change? I believe so.

Another solution i thought of which “world or warcraft” implemented would be

Armor Penetration.

Light Armor ignores 20% of enemy armor & 25% ally heal reductions
medium Armor ignores 10% of enemy armor but generates 5% less threat
Heavy Armor ignores -5% of enemy armor but generates 5% more threat

the reason for including 25% heal debuff within light armor is so they can be a bit more free with heal reducing debuff’s making it harder for healer or tank to properly heal themselves but easier for a healer and i also think this one would make it more likely for healers to pick light then just a buff in heal value.

medium i chose to become an in-between but with a threat advantage, light having high damage and risk of threat and medium being the balance.

tanks dealing slightly less and thus wanting their dps to keep up run unless they want a high reduction to damage so you cannot make a pure cast team for the range advantage but in return 5% threat.

TBH, need to balance let any dps/support class not to wear heavy, this includes Great Axe and Hammer those meelee classes. Heavy class should has no dps/heal power. My suggest is anyone wear heavy armor, dps/heal -50%, mid dps heal normal, light dps/heal +50%.

Yah the biggest thing is that the armor bonus from heavy is out weighing the bonuses from Medium and Light.

Light armor should look like phys:99.6 elemental: 376.6
Medium armor phys: 212.9 elemental: 212.9
Heavy armor: phys: 376.6 elemental: 99.6

I think you dont have to nerf the armor, my idea is nerf the dmg u do with this armor, GA players are abusing of Heavy armor with full resilent perks and gems and going 200-200 and literally are Superman’s.

If you put heavy armor JUST for tank players like; You generate more aggro, but you doing 30% less dmg and healing this problem will be finished. All DPS should go for Mid armor or light armor; mid armor for bruisers and light for glascanon’s

literally the meta game of heavys GA’s full resilents is ridiculous

I was in an OPR last night and one person GA/WH was just destroying everyone. Looking at the scoreboard they were 26/0 by the end of the match. Next highest person had 10 kills.

Makes me wonder if some sort of new exploit is out we don’t know about yet.

Sorry but that’s completely boggus. Light armor already has so much more healing and dmg it’s stupid already! Maybe not fighting in green gs 500 gear would solve most of the problems?

How is it even possible to get 3 hits from a heavy armour user when you wear light armour? GA hits are telegraphed almost half a day ago that’s why most light armour users that I know don’t have any problems at all fighting a heavy armour user UNLESS it’s a paladin. Paladins with lifestaff are somewhat nuts, I’ll give you that.

he literally going SOLO vs 5 GUYS and literally he wiped them all.
AIMBOT is ridiculous, you literally step on your autoattack the same way as a light armor dodge, so light armor dodge is useless if GA is left clicking on you doing 1.5~2k and being so tanky.

This video is funny as f… The guys he was killing 4 vs 1 have either never played a videogame before or they came right out of a night harder than hangover 1. lol The GA player was using all his abilities while the opponents were doing dogshit. Please look at their movement. lmao If you play like they did you deserve to get punished. period
