If light armor gives you 20% more damage and 30% more healing than heavy armor should just reduce all damage by 20% and reduce healing by 30%.
If you like you can make so that light armor control buffs go away 20% faster and 15% less block stability.
I’d prefer if medium armor was neutral at that point but where its at now isnt to awful. There needs to be some kind of tradeoff for heavy armor dps and healers
It seems like a lot but the amount of hits you can take as heavy vs light is a lot more. If ur melee youd want run medium cause it’s 10% less damage than light.
I agree, however in the current format of the game is the other way around. A tank that gets screamed at or ice showered in OPR or WAR will get melted in seconds. You would say any class would, but the thing is, you don’t usually see glass cannons in the front line, only tanks and medium armor ( which is over tuned at the moment ). While a light armor user gets chased by 5 players to get killed and still gets away.
If you are talking about 1v1, yes, it takes 10 hits to kill a heavy player. But nerfing heavy more will make it usable only in PVE, which is where we are headed. The only counter to range at the moment is ss + GA or SS + WH in a 1v1 scenario. Try running hatchet and WH or any other combination that does not include GA while using heavy armor and tell me how it feels
