changes went nowhere even approaching far enough. Shirking fort needs to be brought up to about 10-15% at least (and all sources of fortify for that matter, the fact that fortify is a self rend on light is the dumbest thing I have ever heard) to even be worth running and heavy needs a flat range damage mitigation of about 30% to be worth running outside of wars.
The only way to play heavy currently is with sns, that should tell you everything you need to know about the current balance of pvp. If you strip away any kind of defensive capability that med and heavy have then people will simply choose to play light as mobility is unbelievably more reliable at damage mitigation.
Still better than watching someone with a bow run and hold W for most of the match Oh and occasionally press LMB after the person gets sick of chasing them
They fixed stun locks but left heavy in a bad spot, no one plays heavy for a good reason, only thing it had going for it was cc duration pre patch, I play light now cause the mitigation it currently has is not worth it, better off dodge rolling. With the damage range does the only thing melee can do is get as close as possible as fast as possible. But Ty for watching someone’s gotta watch my 80 1v3 videos you know
yes yes, 80 videos of right click, like watching bruisers holding shift to bunny hop or GS users holding LMB for heavy attacks or archers spamming shift, either you get sh1ted on by S&S or your in one of my videos. but we all got combos here, bruisers love doing shock wave, then wrecking ball then maelstrum. spear users…dont get me started on that cc train. but we all have our things, you hide in the bushes while i push the frontline. my favorite is this fire staff user using burnout into detonate to 1 shot people.

Let me teach you the game real quick.
For a heavy sns hammer combo user to do the combo versus a light target, then you need to first land shield rush (witch is omegalol braindeadly easy to dodge )
Only thing easier to dodge than that is shield bash since its also super duper slow.
Once you dodge these two, you have like 20-30 seconds to swap to your damage weapon and just spam klick on the tank and there you have it, easy win. Beated 90% of tanks on my light gs build playing well, and in fact it was insanely easy.
Now let me teach you have to beat heavy as medium bruiser.
Just go 300 con, use a fast weapon and stand in their face spamming light attacks after dodging/baiting bash, if you have good perks and a proper setup then you win.
Always use a hammer with armor breaker for easy shield breaking= 1x heavy strike+armor break instantly broken, into shockwave and wreckingball, swap to axe or gs, easy peasy.
The fact is, it takes 100 times more skill to play heavy and out manover these builds than it takes to play light/ranged or bruiser to beat them.
Only true noobs and omegalol low tier players cry about heavy tanks, so… Guess we know what you are.

Yeah i agree, if you are light armor and you cant land bash then you are terrible, try it in heavy vs light armor bow player then talk, your literally playing the easiest build in the game
so it seems that atleast in heavy load with physical favored armor all armor % increases and fortify give exactly half the value in mitigation. 10% armor from 200 con gives 5.2%
15% armor from S&S tree gives 7.4%
25% fortify from sturdy fort gives 13.3%
10% fortify from defensive training gives 4.8%
i didnt test my elemental side but it would be less than half since my elemental is only like 1800 i think, but it seems we are at half the value of what old fortify use to be
