Heavy & block change

AGS mentioned undergoing a possible change to heavy armor equip and blocking in general.

I think people would be satisfied with reducing the stamina consumed while doing the heavy dodge.

Light dodge-> consumes 50 stamina
Medium dodge → consumes 40 stamina
Heavy dodge-> consumes 50 stamina-> 40 stamina.

The dodge itself is a very clunky side step, I’d say putting it to 40 stamina consumed to match medium would be sufficient.
Then to individualize medium from heavy equip. Buff heavy equip’s blocking stability and buff mediums dmg output by 10%.

The issue with blocking currently, is that its actually more effective to dodge.
For a blocking change, if they can block with the weapon, let it block what’s in front of them, range/melee.
Example if i block with lifestaff, let me block a shot from bow/musket/mage.
However a shield should be significantly better at blocking ranged hits, you could buff the stability of shields or sturdy perk.

Make blocking more important, I think is the way

Dodge meta was fun but dodge should be used for iFrames of big attacks/important moments, not every bit of damage.

Weaving blocks in-between and trading off some HPs from time to time would be a better flow then simply iFrame everything

Reduce lights ability to escape combat so easily and reset a fight.
