Hey, with the change of grit tanks will go more 300 CON instead of 300 STR. That seems to be intendend. But ward gear sets for tanks doesnt fit in this plan…
Even the new set, the Fire Lord set with Human Ward (Fire Lord's Great Horned Helm - Item - New World Database) is pure STR… Why not at least mix it?!

Most good jewelry is using STR too… Its so hard to follow a 300 CON build like that.
Yeah, you can craft stuff. But I dont get, why this set shouldt get CON…
I have already tanked M9’s in the new tank set with 300str / 200con, you don’t need grit as a tank in PVE. When greatsword tanking i do 150str/150dex/200con, did this tons before patch for M10’s.
300 con is overkill in mutations, max you should be running is 300st 200con and that’s if you’re newer to tanking. better tanks will run lower con and even advanced tanks will run light armor with 5-100 con. depends on skill tbh
I think you have a fair point, especially if they want people to get out of old mindsets like those seen in the replies here. You’re probably going to have to mix non-ward or resort to crafting to boost your con. It would have been nice to include a heavy con set in the new expedition, maybe instead of the heavy dex semi-static set (WTF?)
Yeah, the DEX one is stupid… Who wants to play that? xD
And I did really enjoy the Grit perk and the 300 STR perk is kinda useless for me. I dont use a lot of heavy attacks. And the 250 CON perk is pretty good, too…
I did play with 300+ STR since I playing as a tank, but the new perks kinda lead to change that…
All my mutation amulets are con so i can use them in other builds. My ring is Hepu, and i use a crafted earing with con. This is enough for 300 con build.
You don’t need the grit. I honestly enjoyed it, made me feel more like a tank but it really isn’t needed.
Show me a tank with 5 cons in an M10. Would love to see that.
Huh, Hepu isnt bad… Leeching is really nice, so probably most tanks are using Hacksilver (Simon's Hacksilver Ring - Item - New World Database), but yeah… Maybe Hepu ist fine, if you want to stick with 300 CON. ^^
Crafted Earring is expensive… But yeah, maybe I have to shop one…

All it really did was make it harder for new players and probably some existing ones. 300 con is just a no-no for tanking your damage would be horrible. So your better off forgetting GRIT even exists
Whats really dumb is weapons like example Guardians Resolve and Righteous Heart that had thwarting Strikes which were BIS Tank, are now total dog crap. So they force you to use more shards that you might not have, on weapons you didn’t want to use before to do M10
