They are not doing auto bans. How hard is this scenario to understand: 1-Players mass report someone for whatever stupid reason. 2-This flags the account and alerts the moderation team, now this is where it gets dicey because Amazon is very heavy handed when it comes to violations. 3-Moderation team digs through the logs and finds a violation, any violation, I’ve seen it be saying “shit” in chat. 4- Ban is then handed out and will be upheld because they found a TOS viable reason to validate it.
Not automatic, sure too heavy handed but this is not an auto system.
No we have tested and can confirm. New account, grind to the point we can join faction, never once use chat. Once in faction we mass report it for “abusive chat” and poof the account is banned for 24 hours within minutes.
We have tested this multiple times and it works 100% of the time, even though the account we report has never even used chat.
Companies are using it as war strats to get the main guys they dont want to have to go up against banned.
No matter what you or the community managers say, they are using lazy coding to manage this shit for them.
Mass report ban usually is just 24h / 1 week, perma ban means the user is duping coin / trophy and got mass ban when AGS cleaning 98% of the duped item and gold, try to appeal but those that are perma banned are guilty until proven innocent

The devs are not going to reveal that they likely have logs of every DM, associated mule accounts and with whom each account/player they have ever traded with.
If i was able to dupe stuff, the first thing i would do is trying to get back in to try again to dupe the system. And i would say: I did not dupe! Nooooo1 Whyyyyyy! Get me back my account! Ahhhhhh!

Only took the threat of cancelling prime and not using amazon ever again, to be passed round 3 different people, to finally get someone to look at the account and the email saying it was an error, and now she is back in game.
