@MrSky Point to where in the last few months I posted a complaint about New World.
I accepted it a while ago, and rarely even launch this game these days. More so now that the server I got merged into also is dead. The game’s population is at least 75% bots now. If you don’t log in from 5pm to 10pm you aren’t going to be able to do anything that requires a group. And that’s AGS’ monetization model for this game at work.
It’s all fine in my eyes really. Unlike, those who still play and complain. I actually do have a few MMOs that I jump between to get what I want.
Remember this when New World is back under 10k peak concurrent players worldwide.
Thats the AGS way to keep players buisy and let them grind. They still havent noticed that stuff like this just drives players away.
This is just frustrating for the players and not rewarding at all.
No wonder game is losing thousands of players every month again.
Crafting can be much better if results are bound to the crafter.
But “no one” will want that because botters will be out of a job and RMT will cry and PvP will actually have to play other parts of the game instead of just buying RMT gold to go shopping on the Trading Post.
If we just ignore all these worthless reasons to keep crafting the way it is, there are excellent solutions, such as:
Been trying to craft too but the outcome is just disgusting. No legendaries when rolling 595-600 out of 10-20 attempts is stupid and feels like a lottery. I don’t like gambling so I’ll stop playing the crafting game until they come up with a way to guarantee the crafting outcome even if it means you need to use a lot more mats. Scarabs were a good step forward, but just not enough.
That’s very hypocritical coming from you. Any time someone levy constructive criticism. You and that other person do nothing but throw shade to the people.
I’m guessing you are one of those minority of players who benefits from keeping the game in this sad state. So, you people will do all in your power to do so. Even at the cost of this game turning into ArcheAge, player count wise.
