Hidden mechanic?! This one gonna ruin the whole game

    Marauders with maximum 20-30 people start doing pvp faction quests and with 1 run they doing 10-20% !!! influence on our territory. We start the pvp quests there with 80 people and we can’t push back 5% ?? and we got the Fort.… This happened in closed beta as well …
    We wipe them easily but if we are not reacted fast they doing 100% in 20 minutes with a handful people.

UPDATE: THIS ONE IS A HIDDEN MECHANIC WHAT IS GONNA RUIN THE GAME. BASICALLY NO POINT TO GO AND PUSH BACK THE INFLUENCE!!!

Do Maurauders, by any chance, have a lot less territory? If so thats why its easier for them. Same logic applies in reverse, if a faction owns alot of territory, it becomes more and more tedious to raise the bar on other territories. Also putting down the bar on your territory is twice as hard as raising it, its always been like this.

Marauders got 2 syndicate got 5 and we covenant got 4.

handicap make sense, but still feels too easy 15 min with small group you get 100% and if we are in the faction who has more territory… can’t make 100% influence in 2.5 hour grind with 80 people.

ANY chance a Dev confirm this ?? because I don’t find any info about this.

we teasted. There is an exploit about the influence and the pvp quest. We don’t know the root cause neither the trigger for that yet. We know about the mechanics.
When the bug comes, players get 1,2-1,3% influence for every single pvp quest.
When you do a full run it is roughly 4%.
When someone is pushing influence without the bug, it is 5 quest for 1%.
It is a 5 times boost on this bug.
We need some devs here, because this can be pretty gamebreaking, and can cause conflict on servers, because they wil abuse this bug as an exploit.

Marauder company owner here.

Last night syndicate influence went from 40% - 100% in 20 minutes.

We had the same numbers and took the fort and were running PvP missions and would only get 2% for all of us per run at approx 8 minutes a run. Something is fishy.

We (Marauders) have one territory, Covenant have 4, Covenant did one pvp mission and get around 80% influence (from 29%) and trow a war instantly, the game have problem with that

same thing is happening on Orofena. Our guys had 3-4x the amount of PvPers and were killing them and we were completing the quests but they took us over on influence when they had a tiny small group.

Update on this ticket - So last night we got an invasion instead of a confilct (they didn’t declare war in time)

TODAY: our invasion finished at 21.00 and at 21.15 they had taken 0-100 influence and declared war…

No response from DEVS or support.

Now we know it’s an exploit, we have a recording of 3 guys turning in quests and the influence goes from 76% to 93& - They are now taking our second region.

same thing happening on Tir Na Nog as well, Covenant is exploiting influence to declare war legit everywhere

This is happening on Takamagahara. Covenant got 50% influence in Brightwood in ~30 minutes TWICE with a group of 10-20. We needed a zerg of 50-60 people to match their rate. Current territory control is 3 for syndicate, 4 for covenant, and 4 for marauders so I dont think this is related to “catch up” influence or anything like that.

Happening in Vingolf as well with Marauders. Not sure what they are doing but we have watched the turn in area and we see maybe a few people turn in and it goes from 15-50% in a few minutes. This needs to be looked at immediately! We need to grab 60+ people to bring it back down.

Metropolis company was on our server in closed beta as well and they used all exploit and bug what the game offered… so I’m not surprised.

Same thing happening on Iroko. Greens get 75% instantly at cutless key.

Yea seconded, been seeing this a lot in EverFall. Haven’t seen more than two green flagged up at a time andthey still gain influence super fast
