High Latency & Stuttering Issues

403 comments and not a single word. We don’t expect to have the issue fixed just out of the blue but would be enough to know you are working on it. Lack of communication is the worst thing you can deliver to your customers

since last update lags made it unplayable legit only log in when asked to by guild. i have done all the steps listed in every forum searched for videos online nothing, and i mean absolutly nothing works on my end, It very well could be my ISP and they assured me its not them maybe a loose coord or something. out of ideas. Its frustrating to know that even if I make a post saying X is problem they will just link me 5 ways(iv already tried) to get stable net. so its like one big circle.

Just venting a bit i dont type much on the forums lol.

Speeds easy 40mb.(not the best but it works for all gaming, since i dont stream)

Oh I reinstalled 2 times in the last day and moved from SSD to HDD back to SSD.

I’m like others have a big lag spikes, went from 90-120ms max to 170min and up to 500+ms . the game is unplayable since the last update.

Character loading screen - none of the characters are loading

I was fishing when it started in first light

Bandwidth is high

I am on 4G as well and had all these issues after the last patch.

This fixed it for me for now at least.

Can’t forward ports on a mobile I’m afraid. Thanks for trying to help though.

Some secondary connection maybe with streamed assets, is causing the game to lag. Whilst this connection is open the primary connection to the game server is frozen (all network priority is given to secondary). Please inspect your network traffic through Windows Resource Monitor during the lag and confirm if you see the same (secondary is either US-west s3, or globalaccelerator - i play on EU) :-

Stuttering all the time.

I even tried to reinstall the game and everything else AGS advised to.
Also I never had this. It started on Dec 5th at night out of nowhere.

playing normally then on Dec 5th night it started and it is terrible until today, even after reinstall

Game on low, med or high bandwidth, my connection is 100mb down, 50mb up

Many of us, included me, already stated this. Every peak seems to be related to that ip address s3blablabla. But as long as no mods shows up or aknowledge it there’s nothing we can do.

Great, rather than fix it curent high spike issues, now i got constant crashing when server merges is announced…

My game crashes every 5min, its super strange… i cant play anymore like this.

Game just crashed, and can not get back in. I’d be happy with some stuttering but I can’t login period.

Same problem here:

  • just walking around gathering chests looking for the stacked decks (legends say it exists).

  • World: Ketumaki

  • Bandwidth: high

So just got an email from a Dev or Support. after sending them the info they wanted.
this is part of there reply to me.

At the moment this is a known issue.

Our Devs. are working hard to ensure that the issue is fixed fast.

There is a ETA for when the issue will be fixed in the next coming patch.

At this moment all we can do is wait.

So Hopefully its this patch with the winter stuff but maybe the one after.

I hope they really aknowledged the issue. The fix won’t be in this patch though, i read the whole text wall and nowhere i could find them mention it. Fingers crossed for the upcoming patch then :wink:

Hope the Dev Team will solve this issue asap, yesterday in Brittia the stuttering was really really bad…

Yep so the new patch with the winter event has not helped us they still have not fixed it. This means we miss out on the event and the stuff from it.

I REALLY DO HOPE THEY GOING TO COMPANSATE US FOR THERE LACK OF HELP???

Unfortunately my faith in them is incredible low at this point.
Any one know a good game that looks after its clients???
