I really think itâs some sort of hardware incompatibility with the client. I have an alienware 17 R4 with GTX 1070 and it has this input lag spike no matter what I do. I have a Nitro 5 with GTX 1050i and it doesnât have the issue.
Ever since the void patch in all parts of the game during combat I get desync

Hello? Any devs here. We are more than 1000 people with this major bug. U arent still telling us if you understood the problem of those spike ping, its unplayable and its fuckin no sense that i have to deal with it since release. You clearly dont know whats happening or u know but u dont know how to fix it. We just want to know if we can play this game or not. Just be clear with us, tell the truth. Are u able to fix this huge bug or not? Patches after patch i hope to read some fix regarding this bug but nothing. I can speak for all here, we feel that u are ignoring this big bug because solve a problem for 1000+ people is less important than other problems.
I will write whait is lathency in game but all time have message cant connect to server
EU Centaral
Carcosa
Karkar
I will be walking and i will get a âlag Detectedâ message and bounce back to a previous location and most times will be killed by a mob randomly. if it happens while mining a node it wont let me get it anymore. i will phase thru structures and landmasses. i.e mountains and walls. it is completely unplayable for me these screen shots are literally minutes apart.
I have confirmed on my End that it doesnât happen on all internet providers for me.
I do not get this bug when using my home Wifi which is slightly better than the other network I use.
I DO get this bug when using another Wifi internet provider AND using my At&t hotspot.
No other games do I get this bad of an issue, sure my ping/latency isnât great on the weaker network but the games deal with it just fine.
My solid conclusion: New World does a very poor job with NORMAL latency spikes on slightly weaker internet.
I had created an angry post with some dick comments and then realized steam was actually downloading in the background. LOL.

This has been happening for myself and husband as well as of about 2 weeks ago. The past 2 days have been almost unbearable. We know itâs not our connection or hardware because all day when itâs low population does not happen. Only right around peak time.
Issues including but not limited to:
Rubberbanding quickly
360 turning the char while running due to stutter
Habitually kicking char off crafting machines due to stutter
Stealing CD when crafting purple mats due to stutter
Getting mobbed by enemies due to 360 turning while running
TP constantly refreshing during stutter
Getting kicked off nodes during stutter
Basically every action done in game these stutters cause issues. Itâs gotten so aggravating I had to create a forums ID to report this cuz the CD on purples being robbed is not cool.
Describe what you were doing when it started to happen: I usually have about 180 ms ping at all times because I play on a US East server and I live in Japan currently. Since the patch where you guys recently brought back up the market and trading, I have been having lag spikes of up to 230+ ms which causes my character to: interrupt while crafting closing the crafting menu, interrupt gathering, rubber banding when using skills or abilities, dying to enemies that I donât see due to lag spikes. It is unplayable for me right now. PLEASE fix this.

AGS !!! You can see this is a problem now, can we at least get your Acknowledgement of this issue. The problem is with AWS infrastucture, or your Server software, that is for absolute certain. Try to put a seperate PTR on a server away from AWS, and let all the laggers test that, id be happy to. Then you can rule out server software issues.
