Hello, since a couple of weeks we have been experiencing an increase in latency at peak hour in Irkalla, Devaloka and Apsu servers. This never happened before, its recent and happens every single day and the amount of extra latency is exactly the same.
We can say for sure is not a personal connection issue since this is happening to many ppl at the same time and is around exactly an extra 100ms above what you normally have, pretty accurate and does not spike or anything like that it. A couple of weeks back this was fixable by just going to the main menu and logging back in, but now it does not matter what you do it just doesnt go back down.
For example, i normally have 65-70ms, another friend (also in Argentina but different city and internet provider) has 110ms (4G). At peak hour (around 21hs GMT-3) i go up to 160-170ms and he goes to 200-210ms. Around 00hs ping goes back to normal rates. This is happening every single day for at least a week. Relogging, restarting, restarting the modem, etc. does not work.
We have asked many ppl in the server and it seems to be pretty clear that this is affecting players from every Country but does NOT happen to everyone in the server (or some may not notice it or dont know it).
Anyway, wanted to let the team know this is killing the enjoyment of hard content/pvp for many ppl. Thanks.
EDIT: is getting worse, we are getting 250-290ms today.
I apologize for this problem you’ve experiencing with the ping rising. This is not the experience we want our players to have.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of the following options:
Tap Windows + R, type “firewall.cpl” in the Run window, and then select OK.
Click Allow an application or feature through Windows Defender Firewall, and then click** Change settings**.
Look for the game in the list of allowed applications and features. If included, make sure that the box is checked and that both Private and Public columns are selected. If the game is not in the list, you’ll need to add it.
Ensure that all updates have been completed.
