Hitting escape on expedition Victory popup prevents codex from increasing / run going on your record

    Last week and this week, I have completed multiple mutated dynasty runs (M5, M6 while my Dyn codex is at 2) and today my first depths mutation. Because I have a habit of getting rid of popups on my screen, I always mash Escape when the expedition Victory window pops up and subsequently the points/rewards followup. Each time I have not been awarded a codex increase because of this. All the runs have been silver or above.

  • Any steps that can be taken to reproduce the issue
    Complete a mutated run, silver or higher, where your character should get a codex increase. When the Victory screen appears after completing the expedition, hit escape like a maniac. The score screen will never show up and the run won’t increase your codex or go on your record

I took this screenshot AFTER my first depths mutation, and you can see level 2 is not unlocked and there isn’t even a record of my level 1 mutated run (I got blessing of forefathers on the first try, happy about that at least).

Confirmed. Happened to me today on Depths

Ohhhh, I thought it was just that I didn’t have the codex unlocked and that I didn’t go to M2 because instead I just unlocked the mutation codex instead of progressing me.

I hit escape on Depths today. I didnt have the codex to open an M1 but completed an M1 on someone elses orb. I can now open an M1. Then again, I didnt have the “N” bug others were getting in OPR either.
