Hello AGS,
I have put close to 100 hours into New World at this point and spent many hours on the forums. While many aspects of the game are enjoyable, the game is also riddled with serious bugs and design flaws. Glitches, invincibility and lag exploits, item/gold duping, minimalistic pve experience, broken faction and pvp systems, poor enemy AI and respawns and the list goes on… all of which has created an incredibly disheartening player experience and has lead to widespread negativity. People are quitting the game and for valid reasons.
As much as I would miss playing New World I request that you take the servers offline until you can get the basics sorted. I know this will not be popular opinion but I genuinely believe it would be the best course of action in the long run. A negative player experience and bad press is only going to hurt the game. In addition I cannot imagine the majority of players wanting to financially support the game further (via store transactions) in its current state.
