I actually know about this, and I don’t think it’s fair to compare those games with NW. It’s like having your junior (or whatever it’s called) league for 6yo kids, and then having the freaking Olympics and comparing the performance of each equally.
Sure, AGS has a bad past. They’re currently showing signs of bad management, but one thing I can tell is that the NW team has planned so much shit for the foreseeable future, that even though it seems tight rn, I’m certain they’ll somehow turn it around.
I know for a fact people already bought cosmetics (I’ve seen lots of houses and skins) so this game is already making profits and is most likely on its way to hitting various financial and technical milestones. PTR is gonna be used properly (it was apparently mostly for server transfers before), the balancing is okay, they have weekly updates and monthly patches. It all seems promising besides the fact the game is freaking released as a full game. Anything else really makes sense to me.
My only issue with this is if people never bring up anything when they have invested so much time the player base has no voice which then shows a lack of passion for the game which finally leads to the game dying.
My only option at the moment is to as you say and leave and come back but there’s the chance it leads to the game getting cut which ultimately isn’t what I want. I know I’m not the only person that feels this way and the numbers don’t lie when you look at the statistics of the game for its player base.
I don’t think any person really has the right to tell people how to live or how their opinion shouldn’t exist if it doesn’t match your own so saying your cleaning the forums by harassing people just isn’t nice full stop.
Ich würde sogar vorschlagen die entwickler sollen das Spiel für 2 Wochen oder so einfrieren und die ganzen Bugs und Probleme einfach in dieser Zeit beheben. dafür sollte es einfach eine Entschädigung für die Spieler geben . Denke das wäre für viele Spieler erträglicher als diese ständigen Handelssperren und Fehler während des Spiels
Do you know what isn’t nice? People who’re being complete assholes, not understanding a single thing, and still demanding devs do exactly what accommodates this individual’s needs. It’s called entitlement. You can make private bug reports, etc.
And there’s a difference between being up-front about issues, and just demanding things based on your own dissatisfaction. I’ve found this a super common thing for especially Americans and other English-speaking countries; entitled, armed with ‘free speech’, and demanding the game dying and everybody leaving or fixing everything at the same time right now.
Some people make sense, some don’t. On this forum, most people simply don’t make any sense and are in the category of human filth that should never have kids because they are bad human beings.

Forums are for people to post their opinions good or bad regarding the game.
They are two very important factors.

Every update and patch lead to major bugs/exploits and more imbalance issues.

The Dev team doing patch and update on an extreme rate in order to fix the current issues and improve the game.
So regarding that the Dev team does not care about the game i completely disagree.
They show me that they care a lot. (the patches and maintence show me that)
Regarding the opinion that game is stil in beta and should never be release on that state, its not entirely false
but we have to consider that very few games that are in a stable state when they get release and thats the standard of the industry the last years.
I do not agree with it and i dont like it but thats not something have to do with Devs and NW only.thats the reality of every game even single player games.

Sellers should not be surprised if their customers make fun of their hilariously low standards.

Took a turn there went a bit nuclear! I think people do have some entitlement when they buy into something whether it be financial or time spent.
I don’t work directly in software development or at all within game development so of course, it’s easy for me to say close it down, fix it, re-launch it, jobs done but you cant disregard customers opinions on the product.
Do you honestly think that the level of customer support and QA for this game is acceptable and that it’s unjust to receive any bad press? (Yes/No)
If you answered yes you’re delusional it might be just a game and I get that but the product we are currently getting is total rubbish and it will only get worse.
You’re missing the purpose of what a forum is meant to provide it’s supposed to be a place to bring up points, discuss and generally express emotion 
Its honestly scary how you vile fanboi wumaos are being protected/tolerated by the mods while posts like mine (without any single bad word directed to any poster) are routinely being flagged/brigaded/censored.
Just goes to show how far down the drain your fave game is going.
I’m impressed with that, they let several days go by with serious errors such as increased difficulty, mage assassination, musket sploit, elite chest nerf, STR weapons imbalance and increased craft difficulty, these are things that there is a consensus among the community that is destroying the game, no one liked it and everyone is begging every day for it to be fixed and it should be dealt with urgently, but it is completely ignored. What are you waiting for? that people give up on the game?.
Trolling trolls, complaining about people complaining, and wanting to be taken seriously.
On a serious note.
The greatest feedback I have for this game is communication. Great developers, and great games make mistakes, and thats fine. On top of bugs, wack code, or whatever AGS is battling, they are losing the trust of the consumer. Personally, I’d rather see a road map of “likely” fixes and where they plan on being. Don’t promise anything of course.
With that being said, feedback is feedback, and can be priceless. I enjoy this game and would like it to succeed as much as the next person. No self respecting game company is going to listen to xXquikscopeXx demand a refund because “busted game”.

I would have agreed regarding the communication for the support team they seemed pretty solid until the emergency maintenance last night I knew the game wasn’t coming back for some time but there was so much time between official posts that seemed to annoy me even an hourly update post saying “the team is still working on it” would have been enough,
The efforts the dev team is putting in is incredible but they shouldn’t have pushed out into the void when they did I would have rather spent more weeks waiting for content knowing more bugs were being addressed and fixed at a slower more monitored pace at this point. It’s like what’s the point of putting in all this effort when you’re addressing the wrong areas.
I totally agree that the game needs a roadmap/ presentation even if it’s mega vague would keep my excitement for the game alive but it will be firefighting issues for the next 6 months at this rate

I completely agree, I’m just having fun as I’ve said, but I’d like to believe some of the serious points I’m making has an impact on some people. I just wish more people would realize they’re not getting heard when they act like they own AGS and are being complete dicks. I’m just asking for some reasonable discourse.

I put out this post mainly to have my final say/rant/desperate cry for attention on the game before I put it down just a bit feels a bit sad when I enjoyed the game so much on launch and it’s first few weeks.

I agree, but in that case if you tested the game in open beta you should know that the game needed time. Thats what most of people that i played during that time said. Some bought and start on launch (inlcuding myself) some still waiting for the game to meet their standards.
I did enjoyed the game but lately after patch 1.1 not sure if i still enjoy it.
