Horrible Game Design For War

How is it possible that people can spawn camp you right out of the gate in war and OPR.

In every game with an instanced battleground. There is some for of high ground that allows you to regroup or at the very least damage immunity before respawning and getting out.

It is insane how multiple 10 mans can just spawn attacker camps gates and just spam gravity wells and AoE and cleave you as you are leaving the gate.

In OPR it’s a little better because there is more space between the gates and generally people in OPR are not as coordinated. But my god in war it is horrible. 10 mans just camping you on each gate as you are trying to regroup.

If anything respawns should spawn on elevated platforms in the fort where enemies cannot get to as well as providing immunity, and also you cannot attack out of. Also for the attackers camp there should be a section where you cannot attack from or are given damage immunity for a brief period of time as well as leaving the fort. Something to prevent this spawn camping.

They actually made it hard to spawn camp the war camp or OPR spawn. You could argue bad MM for OPR but otherwise it’s simply a skill issue.

so 10 people each farming 4 entrances is a skill issue?

You begin to leave and before you even leave the gate there are gravity wells all over you. Sure you could overload one side but all they do is pop haste and rotate over.

You are cleaved one by one leaving the attacks camp.

Ehh the defenders have to be alot better than the attackers to actually “war camp” them.

that’s not the point, the fact that it is even possible is horrible game design, and makes a team trying to get things together even worse.

are you new to war?

No and 90% of the time it’s a non issue.

The fact of the matter is that it is a possibility, and would literally not change anyone’s experience if there was a safety buffer for just leaving the gates of attacks camp or spawning in the back of the fort.

The whole fact that strategy can be based around spawn camping is toxic AF.

There should be at least one place where attacks and defenders can regroup safely as a team.
