House items, Furniture-trades (and mailbox)

Kinda hilarious how they choose what issues to actually adress.
Like you pointed out, the harvesting gear for one example. They communicate entire novels on how and why they buffed and/or nerfed a mob or a weapon-skill, tweaking luck-bonuses, heck, introduced an entirely new weapon in a major update.
But seems to have totally forgotten they in effect removed an entire tradeskill-profession.
And all we ask is an acknowledgement.
A word or two. Are they planning on ever turning it back on?

Again. Not that it matters. They obviously don’t give a…

Since the ability to drop/destroy/place in storage of furniture was turned off my inventory has been getting progressively heavier with furniture (currently carrying about 10.7, up from about 2 when the “fix” was made). This, in turn, makes it cost more to fast travel (since it scales in part with “weight”). Also, the effect compounds, albeit very slowly, as the space the furniture occupies reduces “usable” inventory space and requires more frequent returns to town.

Please make this a priority fix. If it cant be fixed immediately, then please turn off furniture drops until it is fixed. Finally, please acknowledge the problem and provide an estimate of when it will be fixed.

This nagging issue serves as a constant and general indictment on the state of the game.

As a side note: The ability to “skin” angry earth wolves was turned off due to an exploit. Please remove any quests that require skinning them until the underlying issue is fixed and the wolves are returned to normal functionality.

To end on a positive - Thanks for the relatively quick turn around on the occasions you’ve turned off the economy. to fix exploits.

Hey if u not already heard about it, you can place any and all furniture items in your house, and by picking them up after, they are placed in your storage of that town. so is one and only way to offload ur bags atm

Thanks loomy, I do appreciate it. Its good to see players looking out for players. Hopefully, the Developers will catch on.

I did know they can be placed in a house, but I don’t own a house, and I don’t want to have to buy one just to store furniture. That scenario imposes a much healthier fee than a small amount of Azoth and lost inventory space. Until the larger issues that effect the economy are settled, I’d rather hold on to my gold.

The housing work around for a furniture in inventory problem is another example of a penalty that an unthoughtful plan of action creates for those who did not exploit, but are affected by the developers actions in response. The problem simply needs to be fixed, and soon. I’m not asking for compensation, just a fix, or communication of a plan for a fix.

If it is honestly that difficult to fix, then the Developers should take some time to explain why, provide their expectations, and then update when things progress or change.

Credibility, real credibility, is difficult to regain once its lost. Not communicating is a sure way to lose that credibility. Do better.

Yes. The lack of communication is actually what disturbs me the most, I mean seriously, weeks has gone by and not a single word about it. Not one.

Should be resolved with the new Patch.

Don’t use the teak furniture schematics, I salvaged one after this update, it disappeared and no new recipe learnt. :frowning:

Still can’t equip my furniture.

I salvaged two teak-recopies a few days ago, didn’t get anything either.
Submitted a bug-report that (surprise…) no one answered.

Equip it?
Use it or what? Should be working now, given a lot of chests and trophies away the last few hours.
But, if you remove something that is in your house, it will still be teleported to the storage in town and not your inventory (for some reason).

I have had a minor mining trophy sitting in my inventory since this damned problem began, it still gives me a blank dark screen with no ‘equip’ button when I double click it.

You cant equip it, you place it in your house from the decoration screen (for me its press B when inside my house) and place it in the trophy slot.

It is my inventory right now. How do I move it to the owned furnishing list if not by equipping it first? I’ll give it a try to move it from my inventory to the house trophy slot, but if it doesn’t work you owe me 80 Azoth.

You travel to your house, while inside push the “decorate”-button. It should be (B) if you didn’t change it. You then place it on a wall in your home.
(if you already know this I apologize, I’m not trying to be rude)
