House Property Tax Discount Not Applied - Still due to pay

  House Tax has been raised without discounts applying. I previously paid around ~750 gold or so, I checked today and saw that it is back to original tax price. It even displays 30% company discount and my territorial standing is good, but not applied. It’s due in 3 days. Will this be fixed or will I have to pay 200 extra gold and be compensated? - I see other posts not answered in 30 days.

  I will have to quest more to afford the weekly tax, which is hard to do with my full schedule.

  Not sure yet. I managed to have enough for a few weeks, but that limits my game play if I want to purchase items or craft items to level my trade skills.

  I can go to my home in Windsward, go to the door, hit E to enter, then N for “Pay Tax”.

My question is similar to this bug/issue. If i have a tier 2 house and the set tax is 500 gold. The town raises taxes to 7%, yet my territory house tax is decreased by 28%, HOW am i paying more than 500 gold in taxes for a house in this zone?? I should still see a decrease; Even if the decrease occurs after the increase is added or even if added after. I should still be around 400 gold. This is exactly why no one buys a house, or those that do, can not afford to pay taxes.

No, this is not the reason. There is plenty of money to be made with close to zero effort with just 10 minutes a day and not depending on the trading post.
Players just like to put the blame on their own shortcomings onto everything else like “cant defeat people wearing Voidbent armor”.

This had nothing to do with any short comings, it had to do with me doing the math wrong. I figured it out though.
