Don’t forget to check the Known Issues List to see if your issue is currently being worked on by the dev team.
We also have existing workaround for some issues that you can find here:

  • What is your character name in New World: VENAtorQFK

  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Idavoll

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing:
When you house expires you can pay directly on the map or by going to the house an pay using N. The value shown on the map does not take into account discounts and is wrong.
Attached is the value show on the map, and the value show when going to the house. (screenshots taken a few seconds apart, so no changes by the governor, and you can see the value of my wallet is equal in both)

  • Is this a bug or an exploit: bug

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: it makes a game feature not usable (remotely paying), and forces players to move to the house to pay an expired tax.

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No

  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: attached.

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Have a house with expired tax (mine was Everfall), open map, select option to pay tax, observe value. Go “physically” to the house, enter house, press N to pay tax, observe value is different.

Actually, its only a bugged UI.
If you pay, it still discounts correctly.
