Describe the issue you are experiencing: I bought my first house As soon as I bought, I noticed that the tax was almost double the rate advertised to me when purchased.

i also just bought a house at WW with tax is should be around 500 to 550 but when i check the tax i should pay almost 1k for tax only, even thought the property tax rate at WW on my server is moderate but not that much that i should paid almost 1k for the cheapest house.
Thanks for the bump. This looks like an ‘everyone’ issue from the poll we did in my company; however, it seems that it is a minority of players who own houses at this point.
Has been an issue since day one yet no one from amazon has even so much as acknowledged it. Seems like the game will die quite quick because of poor communication from the dev team and not fixing glaring bugs in a sensible amount of time.
Amazon has acknowledged that it is a bug havent deemed us worthy of telling us what the bug is. One player’s copy pasted customer support chat says that the bug is the price. Another player’s copy pasted customer support chat says that the bug is the ADVERTISED price. If it is the advertised price, and my limited playing time cannot afford taxes, then I’m out. The insane amount of long distance traveling in this game just isnt for me.
I would add that on Hanan Pancha it is also occurring, and would like to add that that in addition to the taxes not being correct, the pay date does not roll forward properly if you pay your taxes in the window of time available. I paid my weekly taxes 1 day prior and the new date was set at 7 days, instead of the date of purchase + 1 week.

this is the tax rate on my server and the territory standing bonus and the actuall gold/coin that i should paid. FYI i buy the cheapest house which is 5k, so basic calculation from this noob stupid guy, it should be 10% of 5k is 500 then it should be decreased by 13.1% so the result that i should be paid is around 434.5 gold/coin but CMIIW for the tax calculation.
I dont know how they calculate the tax so the result is 869.34. when i first check it after i buy the house, i should paid around 900+ gold/coin, that basicly mean the tax is around 18% not 10% as stated on the territory tax.
Property tax price bug after character transfer - price was 300 on other server. Also tax should be every 7 days (still think this is excessive. - price should be for the month). Low population servers are proving too difficult to make money).
Under consumer rights act the property was displayed as payable for half price and no mention for first payment discount therefore the price as expressed must be honoured. This is a legal requirement. Therefore expect to see compensation for money spent and rectification.
