So I like the idea of the PVP track, I think it works great. If you like PVP that is.
Problem I have is that when you reach level 60 in PVE, there really isn’t much to do which grants you progress other than grinding for Gypsum and doing expeditions and chest runs. Doing normal or story quests really aren’t worth it as the rewards are meh at best as well as the gold is low. Personally I have loads of unfinished quests after reaching level 60 to even bother with them because you cannot have the nice feeling of actually making progress doing them.
Why not make a PVE Track, where you get XP for doing PVE quests and such? This way people who want to not only do dungeons can do (story) quests, harvesting, etc. which will make the game more varied after level 60. This way, you don’t even have to raise the level cap we have now.
The rewards you get could be PVE based items like weapons, Gypsum, gold, potions, furniture, etc., just like the PVP section of the Track which grants PVP based items.
I think this addition will make the endgame a whole lot more varied and ,more importantly, even more fun!
I agree that PVP is less rewarding, but the PVE section as you stated is just grind to 625 with no variation whatsoever, doing the same stuff all over. The PVE track would make the 625 grind way less tedious.
Good to hear you like the idea and thanks for the reply!
I like your suggestion here and you have the support of other players! I will make sure to get this sent up the chain to the Dev team. I’d love to see more player comments as well on this subject. Take care!
and gear-wise, you could add Gear with PVE perks like Luck, Bane/ward, and so on. There need to be named items as well as items with random perks but the weight of the PVE perks should be higher. Don’t mind if you change it so that Resil is a PVP perk and it cannot roll with things like Angry Eath Bane.
i could care less about pvp honestly. but pve, yes. pvp is just bunch of aimbotters, cheaters, toxic people that flood m10s oftentimes to win some shards to either sell for gold or win some pvp gear from the new dungeon. but they treat m10 pve like a pvp opr… 5 con, but they tell you they have 150con or 200 con, or flat out tell you to mind your own business, but i am… you dying endlessly with 5 con is my business.
Instead of pvp track or pve track, I would just like to see the update of progression of my character. When You reach level 60, got your gearscore, and equipment you want, and all weapon skills at lvl 20 … you can only infinite farm pvp rewards, gathering skills or resources.
Why I can not keep progress my character, but much much much more slower? Add some points after lvl 60, for example, each 1000 points collected you can spend on extra points to your character like, + fire resistance 0.5% per 500 points, or ice, or maybe haste? so after some time our characters and builds can be little different. It would be also nice to shown “new” level of the character next to his name, so potential enemies can see from distance, that you are no lifer and have high character skills
Same logic as the PVP track, the more M10s you can finish the more PVE track xp you get.
Scale PVE track xp depending on mutations from 1-10.
Daily random world named boss for extra xp on faction vendors as a quest.
PVE xp from faction vendors PVE quests.
Open world mobs should not give xp because it could get abused by mass killing mobs, they can be limited to 2k xp daily but don’t repeat Great Cleave all over again.
Make it so that Invasions gives the MOST xp for PVE track because no one really wants to do Invasions, the whole roaster sometimes get paid 2-5k to help do it.
Rewards in PVE checkpoints would be: Ward sets from dungeons as named, Ward + Refreshing armor + random perk if rolled legendary, Bane + Refreshing move + random perk if rolled legendary, new PVE only items, new PVE only craft mods, arena keys, mats to craft arena keys, gypsym orbs, azoth etc.
I will add more if something else comes in mind but this is mostly it.
