He’s not the one benefiting so he’s upset
Yep, for RMT.
Nope.
That is not real money trading. It is in game trading, using in game coins.
You’re gonna have to take his word for it
Yeh… it needs proper structure to be added into the game for the admins to track it. Take Minecraft for example… I could see every word said, every transaction made by every single player…
I don’t know what the admin can see here… but with todays technology and the ease of use databases… hunting down exploiters should be easy peesy.
Dear Sir, were you aware that Beff Jezos pays little to no taxes on his billions? Does that upset you? Does it upset you more or less than RMT trading in MMO games that has been around for over 2 decades and will be around for the remainder of time in a capitalist organization of the economy where only profits matter.
Your feelings about how Joey has so much money and spent it on the game and now left you behind are very similar to the feelings of Fred who looks at his neighbors beautiful wife with lust and gorgeous home with envy.
Furthermore you have no evidence, you may as well shout ‘the election was stolen’ then go to court 62 times and never win because you have NO concrete evidence, you simply have feelings and they seem to be hurt.
Always find these posts funny…
Little to no taxes on his billions… that’s still millions more than you or I do. Maybe he deserves a little tax break… he employs thousands of workers…
This isn’t like asking for a search warrant, we don’t have any in game rights at all. Lets remember this is a video game and any claim of RMT is worth investigating as it inflects relatively zero harm on the player to have their character audited behind the scenes.
I mean, can you at least post a screenshot of them advertising their coin sales? Nothing, and I do mean nothing in your OP points to RMT. “They all go in the same house”: a lot of people own the same houses. “They stand near the farmers”: So what?
If you believe that is what they are doing, then report it in-game.
They’re not advertising. He’s paying them to farm materials.
how is that bad ?
isn’t that what the marketplace is ?
If Bezos didn’t exist, thousand other smaller companies would be sharing the market he occupies now, and those companies would be employing hundred of thousands of workers. Never wondered why so many malls are closing down in the recent years? Why so many retail workers are losing their jobs?
The declive of the middle class is tied to the rise of the megacorporations that overwork their highly reduced crews, skip salaries thru automatization, and evade fiscal responsibilities thru lobbying (aka, bribing).
Maybe he doesn’t really deserve any tax break.
It’s RMT.
OP doesn’t know what RMT is.
That much is clear at this point.
OP does.
Nope. If Bezos didn’t exist, another person would start the same type of company. Consumers want ease of use. Going to the mall vs ordering online isn’t too hard to compare. Bezos did a great thing. Sure, some smaller companies went out of business. That’s how the economy works. Perhaps someone will start another company that is even easier and faster than Amazon and then Amazon will go out of business. If smaller companies wanted to survive, they should have adapted to the technology being used to buy things.
Yet with all that being true, the people still shop at amazon as a choice over local shops… so is amazon to blame for being that useful… or the people or the local shops for not offering a service that people want? or the local tax/rent economy over charging which forces prices above what amazon can reduce below, due to owning their own infrastructure.
there are other market forces that are much more “evil” to employment, take Currys for example, they bought out all the competition and then shut their stores down, putting hundreds fo thousand out of work… they never replaced their shops with new stores, they just made people travel further to goto existing ones. Asda, Tesco, Sainsburies all did the same thing… buy out and shutdown stores…
Amazon just went bigger, faster and offers a level of service noone else does. imho the quality of amazon products and the ease of buying low quality items sucks for customers you really have to research and search out the stock you want at the quality level you need with amazon, where local shops tend to make organisation abit more obvious. The ability to walk in, look at, feel and touch & examine products is something amazon doesn’t really offer outside of screenshots.
Oh and we’re hopelessly off topic here…
So to be clear, you are accusing a company of buying materials from people with real money?
