Good musket users like any other good weapon user. Is aware of their enemies ability’s and work to counter them. If your shooting a light armor target after the first hit you expect them to pop a potion then dodge roll. Fire at them after the dodge roll tends to force them to dodge roll again. Players are creatures of habit so if they are zig zaging watch them for a few seconds still you get the pattern down and shoot them right after the switchback of their zag.
That does not mean they are cheating they are just using good tactic’s.
Completely agree, 1300+ Hours in New World and I have yet to face a “cheater” or so they call it. I’ve versed against players that people have “accused” of cheating and yet when I fight them Musket v Musket they just turn out to be good players that have good aim, which can still be dodged regardless - if you have mastered the timing of when and then constantly pressure them as well so they don’t have the luxury to play as confident as they normally would, then you can come up on top.
Mind you there a lot of people that will try to cheat in the game. With 2k hours played I have marked a few aimbots. I was just pointing out that just because you can hit someone who is actively trying evade you does not mean the person is a aim bot. Skill and luck does come into play.
going through a 3rd party program to further remove visuals far beyond what the game devs intended to gain additional benefits is another thing entirely.
if this mode was available through the game then this is a non issue but thats not what they did is it.
True. Although this game should have been fixed a long time ago, I do feel the frustration from other people tbh. Coming back there still other issues that make me roll my eyes.
I’m hoping too that the new management will make things better. I do still have hope for this game. Also the update coming up looks promising, and love that our chest will be doubled. And don’t forget the new T4housing lol.
Apparently, if you follow the guide someone posted over here - you do not just remove visuals you also make it harder for you to see “spells” which can be considered a “disadvantage”
So a real question: have you tested the settings yourself and can you even see a Gravwell? Because from what I can see (some effects are so subtle that you might just end up dying because you turned the settings down for extra fps = seems like a tradeoff than an advantage)
But then again if you see fit that players are penalized for adjusting their graphics settings through a third-party program that’s literally associated and is officially with the Graphics Card being used (hardware) then it is no different from penalizing players for having high-end PCs.
Yes but this is not against ToS lmao, this is no different than adjusting your graphics settings via nvidia control panel??? Nvidia inspector is literally the same as the nvidia control panel but with more detailed settings that can be adjusted and cannot be seen as against any Game’s ToS because it is NOT the game files being modified it is your Graphic’s settings.
How about you find an existing game that bans its players for changing its “graphics” settings?
Mind you it doesn’t matter if it gives an advantage or disadvantage - the main thing that most games have against what’s bannable or not in these circumstances is whether it “modifies game files” and you are 100% NOT modifying any game file by doing any of this. You are in your absolute free will, to adjust your graphics settings to however you want
I don’t care if some forum crying turd thinks it gives an advantage, I OWN my graphics card not them, they don’t get to tell me if I can play my settings on Ultra or on Low
