How difficult are mutated dungeons?

so i was thinking of trying out mutated dungeons. my gearscore is 610. but my gear is just an oddball collection of this and that. i try to get pieces that i think are good, but not much success so far. i would say most of my gear has 1 or 2 good perks but that is it.

if i try to do a mutated 1 will i be a detriment to the group? i don’t want to drag the group down but was thinking about trying it. my fear is that the way the game is designed that over time there will not be anybody left doing normal dungeons, only mutated. (i think this part of the game is poor design how it separates the player base but oh well)

Join a company that can help you explain what to do when and where. What gear you need. What you can do to improve yourself.

If you are willing to learn and improve you are not going to be a nuisance since everyone wants to play with competent players!

You’re not going to go far in group content as solo player

good point. i will start asking my company more about the mutated dungeons then.
