Quitting and demanding a refund because of queue issues is retarded. You’re just being emotional. Every MMO goes through launch issues. Queue problems should be the least concerning since it will eventually die down.

This is how far we’ve sunk as gamers, treating near-unplayable game launches as the norm and verbally abusing anyone who dares complain.

i had no idea what new world was till battle for new world. Queues have gotten better and patience was called for. still a frustrating situation. it was like buying a six pack and opening it up to find 5 lol
What does that even mean? You spent money to play a game and spend time on it. The real issue is your stubbornness to get into some extremely overpopulated server. I’ve been enjoying the game because I was willing to re-roll on a low populated server and not have to deal with extreme queues during peak times.
What a bunch of drama queens. No MMO launch is perfect and this is no different. It’s actually been better than some others i’ve witnessed. It will settle down in time. You didn’t come here to ask about refunds, you came to moan. You are well aware that the game is purchased via Steam and if they won’t refund you because of your queue time then you need to raise a support ticket with them. Are you under the impression Amazon will see your post and refund you directly ? No. So stop pretending you have a question have refunds.
If you don’t like it, moan to steam and try to get refunded. To judge a new MMO after 4 days is ridiculous.

I joined a low pop server and start out a 1 in queue, just to get a timed out message…finally got in buy spamming connect 20X and the sound was all choppy…logged out respam connect, got back in and done the movment tutorial, run down path out of starter and the game gives me “Not allowed to play”, sends me back to desktop, open up steam and the game has uninstalled and now I have to wait 2hrs to reinstall? WTF

Yes, I would like to play it. But, not by myself… because I can’t join a friends server nor them mine. Neither I or my friends will be back until server transfers are finally implemented. I really would just like an honest estimate from an obviously successful and competent company about the product I purchased. Not the carrot on a string.

Just contact your credit card company and request refund through them. I worked for a bank in the past and very easy to get refund throught the bank.
that would be a chargeback, and effectively you have to declare that New world is a scam for that, so since they would look into it, if they found new world, and therefore amazon not a scam you would not get the money back

Grow up a bit and stop being so entitled. We’re all going through it, only difference is that many of us are old enough to understand what’s going on because we’ve lived through it multiple times.
The comments i’m hearing about the queues and such sound an awful lot like the youtube videos of public freak outs against fast food companies when they are low on staff and decide to bitch at the poor people behind the counter in a mad public display then just be calm and understanding of what’s going on.
No true, If the game is not working as promised you can get a refund. If you sit in Ques for hours and cannot play a playable game you can apply for refund. I helped hundreds of players get refunds when i worked for the bank.
Amazon did not advertise this game as not having ques though. Same as every mmo doesn’t advertise that, because its legit impossible, almost every mmo for the last 20 years that has over 500k players at launch has had ques.
Also the game is working properly, could you list anything specific that they said prelaunch (recently, because obviously prelaunch alpha, and prelaunch 2 weeks back are very different games), that is working not as promised in-game?
Well the entire endgame is broken and/or non-functional.
Azoth staff doesn’t work on end game corrputions so you can’t close them, so you can’t ge the materials for end game tuning orbs, been reported since about day 3. Outpost Rush disabled with no ETA. Wars lag so badly that people physically don’t move on the screen.
