How does Logging Luck work?

Can someone explain Logging Luck to me??

I have:
Full set of Logging gear
Head
Chest
Hands
Legs
Feet
3x Major Logging Trophies
PvP enabled

My outcome after Farming for some time:
1550 Ironwood
49 Wildwood
18 Barbvine
4 Softwood Tree Sap
1 Sliver of Ironwood Resin
1 Drop of Ironwood Sap

Is that realy a normal outcome with all that extra Gathering Luck??
It seems like nothing for how much extra luck it should give you?
