How I imagine the New World office looks like - VS reality

Great memes is the only content that AGS consistently provide on the regular.

OMG!!! SO TRUE!!!

In all seriousness though, I dont know where in their office space they are filming these shows. But this looks like some kind of customer support area or some maintenance related office. This is deffinitely not a creator office space.

This is what a dev studio looks like:

The computers we see in the background there are single monitor, no extra development equipment. It looks like the call centers I used to work at when I was selling electricity deals when i was 18 years old.

I’m convinced. Case closed. GG jiggy!

It literally does, what are u trying to get at? I am simply saying that these shows are not filmed in their dev studios but rather in some customer support division or something like that.

I’m trying to get at that you solved the case.

Well done jigster!

In all fairness, with the pandemic the laptop class works mostly from home?

Software dev here, the only times in over the last two years I was in the office was to celebrate project milestones.

100% it does. Are they working from home right now? Productivity seems to be at an all time low unless they have a bunch of surprises for us lol.

Can confirm, it definitely does :joy:

No doubt. But gaming time goes up!

I wonder what game the devs are playing instead of working.

I got an error earlier that I could not post part of the link to a specific Dev Blog post, so I just had to link to the Developer Corner instead.

So these forums probably run ont he same engine as the game.

I think they all run off AWS, but I could be mistaken.
