i am pretty sure gear score is partially based on the level. it’s a lvl 13 item so it couldn’t possibly be GS 500+

But it is TIER V , you see that V in top left corner? How is that possible?
that’s just the rarity tier of the item, while rarity does tie into Gear score the lvl dictates how high it can go
Rarity is common , uncommon , epic , legendary . This one is epic. never saw Tier V and GS 279. I tought tier V is at least 500 or someone said 480. Same as i dont get TIER II or such , 400 + GS items.
I can’t see passed the fact they spelled the item name incorrectly. It should be “Natural”, not “Natrual”.

Apparently it is real name of item according to new world wiki .
The New World wiki gets the item names from actual in-game items. This in-game item is spelled incorrectly and therefore all references to it will also be spelled incorrectly.
I assure you the weapon was meant to be called “Natural Order”. Someone at AGS needs to find the item in the loot table database and correct the name. Once that happens all items with this name (and the wiki) will automatically be updated.

yes but loot luck is working as intended no minor details wrong in the precise % calculations and integers. They have a 5th grade spelling level but they are rain man when it comes to integers, percent values and coding.
I got a legendary item that was under 500 gs, had the extra perk and was yellow and all.
Was it tier 5 ?
Gear score was a mistake.
This entire game was a mistake.
Named item drops are weird in general but just wait until you get a drop that’s common with 600 gs. Feels bad.
Same, but the real question here is:
Did you “seek to DESCRATE her forest” ? 
I have on occasion seen a few of these at lower levels with unique skins and higher tier than normal. If you look in the trade post there are tons of different skinned models and make of gear and weapons that i’ve never seen in the game. But the select few i’ve seen actually posted on the trade market were epic or higher and tierV. I have been hoping at some point we would see some of these start coming out more common instead of the same 2 or 3 models available.

It is the TIER V that makes me confused not rarity ! Isn’t there a limit for specific tier? This is TIER V epic weapon? I saw few TIER 5 common weapons.
3 categories . GS , rarity and TIER . Items can be any rarity , this one is epic , i have no problem with that! But it is TIER V and 279 GS ?! How is that possible ! Does anyone understand?
