How many people will go to fresh start servers?

Why are you so aggressive god.
I’ve never even said I was in favor of that, all I’ve said it that notion wasn’t that small on the net.

Give it a little more time. Already Reddit posts about their fresh starts being dead and wanting to transfer.

it seems so far they are pretty good at merging servers whenever population get too low so I wouldn’t worry about it. Even fresh start have little to worry about and can easily be merged when they need to.

Weird - just checked the first 8 pages on reddit and didn’t see any. Only ones I saw were legacy players asking to be merged because of how huge the population is on fss.

You’ll see. Then come back here and eat crow. I bet you wont own up to it though.

Still not seeing any of these so-called reddit posts you’re talking about. I bet you wont own up to making that up.

I don’t know about Reddit posts but it’s pretty clear to see that FSS are about equal to or less than the Legacy servers. The keynote being that there are now more FSS than Legacy.

The only servers truly hurting are the pseudo-Legacy servers that were added right before FSS. Why AGS thought adding “legacy” servers right before the FSS event was a good idea is beyond me.

Nah - you can look up server numbers on nwdb on a per server basis of fss vs legacy. It’s about 70% fss - 30% legacy population wise right now. These numbers are readily available to you.

Literally just looked it up. They’re basically the same for peak hours, which is when your average person is playing.

I made a new character on the RTA server since my people are there HOWEVER I still have my original character on the legacy server and dunno for sure if I willstay on the RTA…will depend if the company I am in all up and leave again or not.

I think we will have a better idea of what going to happen when this event has been done for a bit, it will give us more of an idea if the streamers will actually stick around this time or not.

Super weird cause just checked right now and it’s 65 fss vs 35 legacy. And last night was 68 fss and 32 legacy. 2 to 1 ratio is hardly what I would call equal or less. That’s pretty lopsided.

FSS have more players during the day time (kids/unemployed/wfh).

But they’re not any busier during peak hours.

What that means is FSS is more popular with the no-lifers. Not surprising since those are the servers where they’re more likely to get ahead for their overabundance of free time and lack of real world commitments.

Bro - you can look up the numbers over any hours of the day. You can look up the numbers from 7pm est last night which is what I did. At 7pm est last night it was 68% fss vs 32% legacy.

Yes, and it’s very clear. Hell, it’s presented in graphical representation in the screenshots I posted.

Also, what are these unqualified %'s you’re listing “bro”?

Total players logged in on fss vs total players logged in on legacy. At 7pm est last night - 68% of the player base was playing on fss VS 32% of the player base playing on legacy servers.

Jesus christ my dude.

We established that early on.

MMOs literally attract the dumbest people in existence.

Not surprising why AGS chooses to value time /played rather than competency.

Twist the numbers however you want, but a 2 to 1 ratio is hardly equal over total players logged in.

Correct and unsurprising.

Legacy players called the bullies yet FSS are full of people looking to exploit their abundance of free time and lack of responsibility to beat down on nubs who get duped into a fresh start pipe dream.

Seems especially toxic after considering all the trash talk spewed our way.

Something to think about

Let me help you since you seem to struggle with understanding the numbers and context just as you failed to read the words I typed earlier.

AGS over-merged the servers at the start of the summer. Like, bad. Major queue times, slow response by AGS.

AGS announces FSS. Big hype.

Right before FSS, AGS opened up some “new legacy” servers, those are the easily identifiable dead servers in any region. Because nobody in their right mind would move to an empty legacy server shortly before FSS go live. That’s just dumb, and thinking anything other than that is dumb. The opened those servers because the overpopulated legacy servers were getting even more traffic from Brimstone returners.

So players are left with 3 choices.
1.) Stay on over-pop legacy.
2.) Move to dead fresh legacy.
3.) Start over on FSS where their prior experience and game knowledge will help them get ahead.

A lot of people stayed on their original legacy servers, which is why those servers are still thriving even though the FSS servers outnumber them, coincidentally, 2 to 1. Just like you keep parroting in your statements.

If you’re trying to count the 2 month old “legacy” servers in your observation of things as viable options, then you’re not qualified to be arguing with me. People are playing on the servers they can comfortably play on, and AGS created a situation where for most people, FSS is more comfortable.

Cheers.
