How to Balance Economy, Guilds and Factions

Hi, this is a suggestion on how to fix the current issue of a single large guild per faction dominating the whole game.

1. Taxes should not grant more than X gold per week per territory.

With a maximum fixed amount of gold available, guilds will have to: (a) dedicate better to invasion defense so they can have money left from upgrading/fixing the settlements they own; (b) large guilds won’t be able to retain large amounts of players if they don’t own all possible territories, since they cant sustain equipping and gifting 500 players with 3 territories or so, therefore reducing their power; (c) Since less gold is given to guild players, the overall power will be more balanced and there will be less gold sellers from guild gold.

Important to highlight that if less gold is given to guild players, the economy may inflate a little from being “less gold available on the market”, this can be overcome by the new gold events AGS has already been doing.

I don’t mean to hurt territory owners, guild players should be eligible for 3-4k a week per player. But what we see now is some guilds having elite players that own the whole game.

2. War Fatigue

Let players have debuffs from playing a war for a few hours, to avoid large guilds to have main teams and only allow few people to play.
