@Feslon Thanks for the feedback! We’ll make sure these steps and video reach the team. We will also include this thread link in our report. We appreciate your efforts in assisting us with these steps.
In the future, please use the Report a Player functionality on the support website. That gets the information to the Game Moderation team faster than passing it through the forums.
The report is too inefficient. Please let us kill them
1: Peaceful attack mode, unable to attack players, can only attack enemy monsters and deal damage.
2: In team attack mode, you cannot attack teammates, but can attack any other unit and cause damage.
3: Union attack mode, you cannot attack union members, you can attack any unit except union members.
4: Faction attack mode, cannot attack the same faction players, can attack any player or unit outside the faction.
5: All Attack mode, can attack any unit that wants to attack, deal damage and kill.
6: Bounty Hunter mode, when attacking dangerous characters, gain 10% of their random equipment or gold drops.
Bounty hunters will also drop 10% of their belongings when killed by a dangerous person, but will no longer drop when killed by another player.
Trigger conditions for becoming a dangerous person or criminal: attack other players and cause damage will be marked red or dangerous person, cumulative hate value, reach a certain danger value will be elevated to extremely dangerous person and marked.
i get that your job is to encourage reporting, however, if you play the game or read the forums, you an easily tell that it’s a waste of time.
we know that we can report bots and so many posts show that, including me. the problem is that AGS is not actioning the majority of these reports in an appropriate way. either AGS doesn’t have the resources or the will to do the job.
i have reported so many bots in-game that just hit a node that i’m gathering and yet, months later, they are still online gathering (in my blocked list).
i guess the frustration is not that you are telling to report but rather to mean that AGS will do something about it.
heck, players have started posting youtube videos of bots… and guess what, we’re still waiting for perma bans.
for me, the April update will be critical. If AGS addresses the issue of bots monopolizing ori or not and if more ori nodes are added, especially on high pop servers. this will determine whether or not i return to NW.
UPD: This bot still runs around even after numerous reports
3rd day, this one is still in game as well. Video of its full route at the bottom of the thread.
This bot still runs around, i guess bots are ok and everyone can use them?
Damn, they are “smart”! I thought he would never escape from that, but i guess not…
Here’s another one. Just sits in the Pirate Ship in Restless Shore mining the 4 Orichalcum veins 24 hours non stop. Been here for over a week after multiple reports from multiple players. Its on US West Yggdrasil
Bots on ori spots are so annoying, price to lvl up weaponsmithing is impossible
