Whaddup everyone, Yoodith here, finna be gonna be imma go ahead and be asking about some coin farming advice (whomst’d’ve’n).
Started playing when this game launched and took a break until a week ago, so I’m a bit out of the loop. Additionally, the iron and steel ingot prices when I was still playing were way higher, so this isn’t really a viable / the best coin farming strategy anymore. Especially since there’s literally no ressources on the map because of the server merges.
Little nuggets of (worthwhile) farming knowledge I’ve gathered so far:
Hyssop farming
Rawhide processing
Selling good items on AH
Other sources of gold from my experience include:
Two lost coin pouches from dungeons, although I’ve never gotten any past the first dungeon of the day, can anyone confirm that this is once daily?
Bosses in dungeons give upwards to 100G (I’m level 46)
Would anyone be kind enough to share their trade secrets? As a returning lvl 46 player, I find myself gold starved even tho I’m permanently farming. I know part of the reason is that I spend a lot of coin on the town project missions, but still.
As people suggested above focus on leveling mostly.
But you can help yourself already with leveling your skills like smellting leatherworking tailoring.
If you get to 200 on those you will be able to do daily crafting materials which have a 24 hours cooldown but are very good income.
On my server it’s daily 8,5k go ± what you get.
Outside of that you can try fishing selling rate fish or gathering rare food ingredients. You have to check on your servers trading post what’s valuable check where to farm it and you are good to go
Lost coin sacks can also be obtained from elite chests. Since I’m farming in Mangled, I grab the chest by Articulon then the three after High Priest. Usually these 4 chests are enough to get me my two daily coin purses.
Also, with the current event, hit up every settlement to get opulent baskets. For me, that’s 11* up to 200 coins each. I seem to get about 100-150 coins average each time.
Loot every supply chest you see. At lower levels, some of the craft mods are actually semi rare since high level players don’t generally farm them. I recently leveled an alt to lv15 and checked the craft mods I got from starter zone questing and some sold for 2k+ each.
