How to fix combat with one adjustment

Heres a easy layup for the new combat lead.

Make blocking work…done

cc staggers and stuns are perfectly balanced in a 1v1 situation. You get hit you pay. It’s not that hard to dodge. (You never hear people complain about being comboed in fighting game ,Unless your a total scrub)

The problem in 1vx is that you have no way of dealing with mutilple attackers relating thier cc skills basic attacks going off at various times. You Will get caught in between. You cant really block because its a death sentence they will drain you stam in 1 sec.

The way group pvp games like chivary and gloria victus have thier group fighting balenced is that blocking actually works. So you can potentially fight off mutiple people By timing blocks correctly and choosing when to attack back.
Blocking dosnt really work in new world unless your a heavy tank sns and thats just a self nerf at that point

Also the blocking seems very clunky because i believe you cant buffer your blocks in new world which is a problem . You need to know actually when when animation finishes and if you hit right click to early you have to let go and re click. …pretty bad for fluidity

This would be very good for the combat of the game.

Currently the combat meta is based on dodging like a sick man, with the stamina recovery PERK this becomes even worse.

They have to give MORE RELEVANCE to the BLOCKING
Even if they get it right they could later add a counter attack, a counter attack that works as a push (example)
