I kinda lost my interest in New World due to long queue times. But this issue can be fixed very simply.
So, we can make two characters per region. This is kinda okayish, until dozens of friends joined different servers due to the long queue times. All my friends are soo spread out now, and some already have two characters.
To solve the queue time and friends being spread out, let us pick a character that you wanna play with and then select the world you wanna join, instead of one fixed world.
Let us move between worlds freely, or maybe make a party with friends before joining a world and the leader of the party can select a world they wanna play in.
All the nicknames are global anyway, so the connection between worlds/realms is already there. This will fix so many issues. And when it comes to PvP matches, those can a mix of players from different worlds/realms being matched with each other.
Just adding more servers and tell people to join an empty server doesn’t fix the issue. You only separate people and prevent them from playing with each other.
I’m forced to leave my friends, it promotes solo gameplay instead of playing with friends and people lose interest due to the long queue times. This fix won’t fix anything but makes the game experience even worse.
I’m going to respect TESO more and more from all the MMO’s on the market. Everyone on the same region server can play with each other, no separate worlds, realms, or whatever you wanna name it.
Even older MMO’s like WoW is doing something about it. You can at least play with friends in different Realms. Okay, you can’t join the same guild or whatever but at least you can play with each other.
I start with work at 7 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon, excluded travel time from Monday till Saturday. I come home at 17:30 in the afternoon, eat something so I can play games around 18:00 but then I need to wait 2,5 hours to join a game. I could join another world/realm but then I leave all my friends behind. I could ask them to join a different world/realm but they don’t want to, because nobody wants to start all over again including me.
The connection between worlds/realms is already there (global nicknames), let us move between worlds/realms. This will fix so many issues.
