Get over the mounts. You want mounts play another game that has them. This map isn’t even that big and you can teleport for Pete’s sakes.

And they wont run without Mounts? I think it would fit more to remove Porting out of the game and give us Mounts instead!

Dataminers already found Horses and Horse armor, it seems like they are coming. If you like it or not.
You do realize all other mmos that have mounts also drop off things too right? It isn’t just WoW. Not only that, there are plenty of other ways to get mounts in WoW also besides them just dropping.

Haha actually thats needed so many people are already finished with more then half of all skills after some months! But this should mainly focus about the Mount Topic!

Its also an opinion You can have, and being old is not a reason to not get heard! But dataminers found information about possibe mounts coming! So i thought its time to discuss this topic with everyone playing and haveing fun playing this game!
Shame too. I really don’t think the game’s intent was designed around having mounts this early. They even stated they want you to explore the vibrant map and engage in the world in a more intimate way. Mounts have to be designed in a way that throws you all over the place without breaking the robust world. You can’t replace the azoth teleport system with mounts because there is no flight path system to get you from one large distance to another.
Another thing is that’s not mentioned is the collision mechanic. All other MMOs with mounts dont have this awesome collision system we have that is the last true anti-zerg mechanic in the game atm. The first video to feature a company riding to war is gonna look clunky and weird lol.
And also by doing certain (which plenty of them do this) achievements you get mounts as rewards, buying them with gold when you hit a certain rep status, buying them with certain in-game badges, etc.
Sounds good aswell, i have nothing agains diffrent ways to optain Mounts!

The devs said no to mounts but didn’t completely rule them out in the long run. If they do go that route it would be nice for a mount system to be more sophisticated than in other games. I think adding horses into the wild as creatures first would be really good, have them spawn randomly around the world and make them very rare, and give them random models/skins.
And then have an actual taming process where you have to approach the horse and go through some kind of mechanic or mini game. It’d be neat if the look of the horse you tame is what you get once you own it. Having some kind of more in depth mechanics for having to maintain the horse at stables placed in the settlements would be really cool. Maybe feeding them regularly, doing tasks to take care of them and boost their stats over time would be good - horse levels and horse experience that improve speed/health etc
If it’s just a spell you pop and a horse appears out of thin air, that’d be such a wasted opportunity to do something cool. Summoning the horse in a Red Dead Redemption 2 style would also be a really good way to go.
So remove instantaneous long distance teleporting and add mounts which would actually make traveling that distance take long. Yes sure. That makes sense.

I dont think there has to be a anything to skip the world as Porting/fly pattern from town to town! It would be realistic if u need a lot of time if u wanna travel to shattered mountain startin in first light. But i dont wanna discus the azothporting here. Thats a whole other topic!
Clearely they had to change something about the body blocking if they introduce mounts!
if you don’t like difficulties, and the game is always a certain difficulty, then why play at all? turn off the PC and just sit in silence.

Sounds awesome aswell! I really like the aspect of maintaining your Mount so you can’t collect hundreds of them. And maybe pay tax if u bring them to a settlement?
