Combine servers. All servers should be 1750+ avg players.
Add PvP arenas with incentives (if possible cross server).
Do something about wars. There’s no reason the same 100 people on a server literally fight in every war no matter what companies are fighting. Lower maybe to 30 v 30 and make it where only people from your company can enlist or something. Something needs to be done. Edit: on this subject there is multiple solutions maybe war fatigue or something idk. But you go fight green company xyz same guys as when you go fight yellow xzr. There needs to be more rotation in players
Taxes are too high and most servers are run by 1-2 companies. 3 at most. There should be more options and competition.
Get rid of factions, companies do the hard work not factions. Give PVP players their arenas/servers or allow them to compete in between servers, so they don’t try to drag pve players to their game. Get rid of leveling, you must be what you own, not a daily struggle to keep up with more active players. Stop with the fixed node spawns madness, there’s no way you can be bot free when all nodes spawn in same spot over and over. You’re a settler in a new land, building is a must for this type of game.
I like these points. And yeah that’s something I want to add, there needs to be something for new players to be able to somewhat catch-up. I mean what new player would want to grind a ton of crap solo to catch up at this point . Game has made it impossible to get new players involved
All these points and not a single one directed at the fubarred core code which is causing all the bullsht yall are btching about… it genuinely astonishes me still.
Instanced 30 v 30 War - sign up like OPR, randomly selects or sign up for Blue team or Red team.
Mutation orbs - if a group times it give them the orb back to keep going. Also add multiple areas to the mutation rotation. Even starstone/amrine/depths would be cool to see.
World bosses - add world bosses like the giant turkey that randomly spawn into the game
Gypsum - do not gate the cap on gypsum drops. This prevents people from catching up in gear when the casts are infinite but the drops are still capped at: one emerald, two sapphire, two citrine, 7 amethyst, 3 obsidian, 2 ruby. If people want to keep grinding like that, let them.
Hi, I thought what you said was very sensible. I really believe that this could help the game player. it’s small details, and they don’t listen to the community. currently there are several bots farming and despite several people reporting it they are still there.they said that adding a new feature to prevent this, but I believe it did not help, because they remain in the same places, making the same movements, every day , at all times. the future of New World will be all on the same server because more and more people are not playing it.
Horrible idea and actually contradicts what you are saying. You are complaining about the same people getting to do wars then you say your solution is to only let people from the company enlist? Same exact thing. Also, only companies then with 30 active people can do it which there aren’t many of those and the ones that do have that will be the same 30 always then.
What they need to do if they went the route of let others do wars, is to have the wars randomly select people and not let the company decide. Have it set to lvl 60s as well so people can’t troll with low level characters and will be an end game perk.
Then, if you signed up but the system didn’t pick you, then you get flagged so you will have a better % chance to get in the next war you sign up for. This way everyone can get a chance and this might also let more territories change companies more often instead of how the system is now where defending is 348097482 times easier than attacking.
Hi, I’ve mostly seen the part where you say about people being randomly chosen for war now. And it would be interesting if the war was the fight of that faction, it didn’t give a specific clan. A, maybe I’m tripping on ideas, but people are disheartened by the way things are going. Something needs to be done literally. The entry of this new way of doing DGs demotivated many players, Most like me who are not hardcore… We are casual players, who unfortunately will be left behind as the better items are dropping from the dgs. And if you don’t do that, there’s no point in trying to want to buy, as they are items that are bound to pick up.
Yah gating the mutation orbs and then making it the only way to progress was the worst idea ever. If you are going to gate it put it up to like 5 crafted per week, and make them outright sellable on TP.
What drove me (and my small guild) away from the game we enjoyed was being auto-kicked for wars/invasions because the guilds participating were all pretty large and could easily fill their 50 man roster.
I know, I know, most servers have a population problem but we were on a high-pop server and guilds could easily fill their 50 man rosters, so they kicked anyone not in their company. The only way we were ever going to participate was to join their guild.
For the war thing I’m not saying my solution is the only solution. But I would imagine most servers are like mine where there is 2-3 companies that slot every single war with the same people regardless of what companies are fighting . There’s multiple solutions to this such as war fatigue etc but I don’t think randomly selecting people would be a workable solution. Reason is: that there are some faction companies teamed up with opposing faction companies (purple teamed up with yellow etc.). They could easily slot, and troll. No communication or anything either. Wars would literally be random and just not rly make sense
I love the faction identity system, and wish there was something useful to do with it. But, you’re basically right. The Company calls all the shots, and if you’re a players such as myself, who enjoyed one faction because of its lore/differences/uniqueness, then you don’t want to switch just to compete with a Company. So, the game really needs to overhaul the faction system, or allows Companies within factions to compete with each other. Otherwise, the companies in the same faction as a town holder are actually at a bigger disadvantage that those that have the ability to compete with them.
There’s a lot more that can be said, but I should be working.
