Just wondering if there is a way to tell if someone is a GM in-game or not, I know of a player claiming to be a GM on the server we play on. I assume this must be against the rules but don’t know if there is a way to tell if they actually are or are not, and I would rather not report them if they are a Gm or that it’s not against TOS. Any help would be appreciated!

Is it always? Or is it possible for them to turn it off so they don’t get sent spam?

It’s a mmo people lie about being GM all the time.
Mostly for light hearted fun because everyone know they’re trolling.
It’s when some tries to steal accounts or extort that it should be reported.
No GM is going around saying ‘Im a GM trust me bro’. They’d simply have their indicator on.
I am sure there’s GM that go on power trips but it’s rare and they are removed pretty quick.
It doesn’t hurt to keep an eye out.
But in this case sounds like trolling.

Ok thanks, just weird since he’s the governor of one of the larger companies on the sever and a pretty well-respsected player from what I can tell. I haven’t seen any evidence of them using it maliciously. Thanks!
There was a post a few days ago from a online chat service from them that stated atm we have no GMs

I came here to say this, there are no GMs.
Report them. There is no GMs in game yet.
