On my current world, syndicate went from 7 regions to 1 region in under a week. As a member of syndicate, it’s extremely frustrating to try and do any crafting, since I can’t transfer any inventory from the other territories without teleporting, using up all my azoth to transfer back, and doing a quick craft run. This makes the game completely unplayable.
I was wondering if there is a site that shows how many territories a faction controls. I CAN’T change to the Maruaders, for the simple fact that they control 11 territories right now, it won’t even LET me, and I would lose all my faction rank.
Is there a list anywhere of which factions control the servers. With the upcoming server transfer, I want to transfer to a west coast server that syndicate controls at least 10 or 11 territories, making crafting a realistic option. As I stated right now, I cannot craft, and extremely frustrated and ready to quit.
Honestly no matter where you transfer your going to run the same risk if the other factions decide to take some of the region’s.
Honestly, thats not how the real world actually works. Since syndicate has been decimated, there is ZERO talk in the faction channel of trying to take things back. I would posit that in a world that is heavily dominated by a single faction, the factions with just 1 or even ZERO territories will just not bother. There is no point in trying to maintain a territory if 80% of the player base is from a different faction. I saw the exact same issue in the beta, where 1 faction controlled 13 of the 14 territories, and it NEVER changed. Anyone who created a character, created a synicate character, because the benefits of being in the dominant faction far, far outweighs the frustration of not being able to hold a territory.
Again, I saw this in the beta, 1 faction controlling the entire server for the entire beta. Once I hit 60, and have maxed out my crafting, have the great gear, etc, I really don’t care. I don’t like PVP, I don’t want to PVP, but you have to realize, you CANNOT PVE on a server if your faction has only 1 or ZERO territories. It just does not work.
OT, but Im wondering - does your server with a faction totally dominant still have wars or did this lead to “Pax Romana”?
… There are so many good PVE games… This really isn’t one of them.
So is there an answer for the OP’s original question? There doesn’t seem to be a resource to see current territory control, which is a shame. Obviously people don’t want to transfer from the frying pan into the fryer.
still looking for this list myself. every server i have been on is controlled by one faction and the other factions just leave. so im trying to find a syndicate faction run server that isn’t maxed out on the taxes. so far from what i can tell the group that owns the territory is just taking the money and running with it. one server im on is marauder run and they aren’t upkeeping the towns so why am i payin taxes if ya aren’t going to upgrade. the other server im on is syndicate run but all the taxes are maxed out at high and they aren’t keeping up with the towns either. so i just want a server i can craft on without having to waste all the azoth to do it or lose my house cuz the taxes are too high to cover with the broken economic system. so yeah really want that server list too, i’d like to play the game and enjoy it and the way it is now i can’t and have basically stopped playing because of it. PVPers are killing the PVP side of the game by taking over whole servers so now i just want a server that won’t kill me with taxes and isn’t run by a faction other than the one i am in because of crafting transfers and all that.
wow, you just said what I realized. When one faction controls the entire server, there is literally ZERO incentive to upgrade the towns. Since gold is in extremely short supply, just repairing your equipment becomes a hassle. I’ve got over 1500 repair parts, but that’s from crafting tier-3 and lower stuff, because that’s the best the towns offer. running out of gold, the economy is shot, and the PVP’s don’t care. I REALLY want a server where there are NO FACTIONS. Just set the tax rate to moderate for everything, and have some way to let the PVE people upgrade the towns.
I played in the alpha for a very brief period. It was 100% gankfest, and amazon knew that would never work. Apparently they did not take into consideration what IS happening right now, a very very very small group (200 out of 2000) people are using the towns/pvp as their own personal gold sink. In the end, I suspect only hardcore pvp people who BELONG to the dominant faction are going to be the only ones left playing. I’ve been playing for 3 weeks, hit level 55, and am ready to call it. Don’t want to pvp, can barely afford to keep my stuff repaired, and the entire crafting economy is shot, with zero town upgrades, insane taxes.
Guess what, there is now ZERO wait to get on, even at peak times, this has got to be something amazon is aware of. I’ll give it another month, but if there is not a major change to how the pvp can SCREW the world for PVE, I don’t think I will stick around.

AGS stated (during server transfer release) that at this time it’s technically not possible to show territory control of the servers, so there can’t be any 3rd party sites to show that info.
The only way might be to choose a server first that you maybe wanna transfer to, make a new character to check the faction control there, and if you like it, delete the character and transfer to it with your main.

yeah all of what you said. i’ve just been pve since launch and every server i have been on (four total) are having the same issues. and i get that amazon hasn’t had to pay taxes in years so they don’t understand how taxes can destroy an economy and all but for real im at the point where im waiting to see what they do before i log back in honestly. and that sucks cuz i like the game and don’t want it to have been a waste of hard to come by cash but here we are and they got stuff they seriously need to address or they will watch their game go the route of cyberpunk and be dead within another month. which is sad cuz it could be such an amazing game.

Just don’t keep creating new characters on new servers to check server faction health. You will get banned for bot behaviour.
