Why would you get banned? That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Whoever told you that has a screw lose.
How true are claims like this? Well often people lie because what do they have to lose if they did in fact cheat and was banned. But sometimes they tell the truth and was innocents. So who knows. If you don’t break the rules there are no reason for you to get banned.

The method they showed in the video wasn’t referring to just voidbent but instead the two step trading processing for authentication. Basically they were talking about trading and logging out on your character which honestly looked like they were attempting to dupe hence the ban. The actual reddit post has a ton of comments mentioning this too.
Voidbent is literally censored in the chat before the patch went through.
You have to lock, unlock the voidbent piece and then logout and back in to be able to trade the armor piece with someone. Not sure if it’s a bug or supposed to be BoP but that’s how it is lol
Sounds like a bug… the interaction itself would seem like suspicious behavior normally when it comes to trade windows.

That video is proof of nothing. Everyone in prison is innocent. Didn’t you know? Trade failed 3 times? Never happened to me once. Weird how there was a lag switch exploit which made trades fail. Must just be a coincidence.

First hand proof. Guildy of mine traded all mats for a full void armour set. Other guildy who crafts, makes a full armour set for him. In the meantime player 1 got logged out and had a screen with “24 hour ban / cheating” . Guildy 2 now waits till he can log back tonight and give player 1 his crafted armour and hopes he doesnt get a ban for trading it back.
AGS claims autobans are not true. Thats a lie. An automatic system exists.

How do we know if his void ores weren’t duped? If his friend didn’t pass him a duped voidbent set?
I mean, the video proves nothing.
People are terrified to speak in chat out of fear of getting banned or having a bot send them 500K gold and getting banned.

Yesterday i crafted the full set of voidbent armor for my guild governor and he was banned afterwards. So it is true that u will get banned for this I hope that i wont get bann because i didnt do anything against the rules. I know the guy and he farmed some of the ores and bought the other ones he is not a scammer for sure… The sad thing is that this game is full of incompetent programmers and the easiest way to fix things in the game is obviously to just bann them… I think that is stupid and as long as there are bugs there will be exploiters so why dont u just fix your Huge bugs at least while u do like 24hrs of maintanances…
Is it coincidence an immense amount of people suddenly and concurrently get their void ore drops yesterday? I’m not a Rocket scientist, but one and one still equals 2 I believe. Just keep mass reporting anyone who barks WTS void ore/void ingot in global. I’m doing my part 
I think this is what is triggering the bans, the fact that the armor pieces are glitched. Because you have to log out and log back in to trade it. I just got off of my ban after I had received my voidbent set yesterday. Some people were stating that they are able to trade the voidbent set and aren’t getting banned, if that’s the case then that’s pretty good. I just want to appeal my ban because i never cheated and i think it was done by mistake.

awful lot of void bent armor trading hands. Would be a shame if someone gets banned for cheating for it. tbh, I think its worth if they accidentally ban a few innocent people just to make sure they get all of you cheating nerds. Should just be an outright perma ban right now to trade any void bent gear, ore, or bars imo. You know anyone who actually farmed the void ore legit is not trading it to get smelted into a bar today. Or tomorrow lol it’s all just a bunch of sad nerds getting caught with their duped gear on this forum today. Get some losers
Yeah i finally bumped up my mining equipment yesterday, had a day off and decided to farm A LOT of orichalcum (as for some weird reason noone was in ebonscale all day) and got 4 void ore, like 150 each of tolvium and cinnabar.
should definately get banned for that
