While time gating is a tired practice in MMOs, the issue is you have so many, in so many different parts of the game, that as the game further develops, it’s going to become a very complicated mess.
Already many have stated that there should be Region based weekly and daily resets instead of individual timers. This would not only free up a ton of resources, but also make your game more approachable.
Aside from Region based resets, the next issue is why did you vary the timers from D:H:M:S on crafted but only H:M:S on faction keys. This is overly confusing, not to mention that these time gates should end again before the reset of a Mutation cycle. I have to wait 6 hours past the “supposable” mutation reset even though I bought/crafted the keys on patch day. You’ve already changed timings on gates with Casts due to players having increased time gate windows each time they crafted them. The same needs to be done with keys.
Again the biggest and best fix for all of this is Region based CDs, otherwise your not only complicating things for your player base, but also using more resources on your back end.
I really hope this is a major aspect of the Feb patch.
