HUGE SERVER/ACCOUNT ISSUE/BUG [US East Babilary]

My family plays on US East Babilary. 3 of us are fine seeing one another in the server (physical character). Search user function works as well for 3 of us. However, when trying to locate our 4th – He doesn’t show up on searches.

We tried meeting at the smelter (Windsward) and no one can see his character. We physically have gone to his computer to make sure he’s not trolling lol. He doesn’t see us, and we don’t see him. He can’t user search us, and we cannot user search him. Under his Bio – Under his name it says Babilary.

Annnd… now it says his server is Hanan Pacha. How did he get switched off the Babilary server? Is there a way to transfer him back, please?

*Edit again - He can’t even make a character on the original server (Babilary) – It’s now telling him he already has a character there. So, he’s completely stuck in some weird server limbo and cannot play at all. Two character slots and both are taken, because of this bug.

Did this somehow happen after the new east coast servers were added, because of the queue times?

Please, support/dev someone, help.

Apparently, Amazongames/NewWorld stated that, because of the queue times, they added 28 new servers, and took some people and transferred them to different servers.

That’s unacceptable.

We all bought the game to play together. Our family started out on the same server to PLAY TOGETHER ON, and then you take 1 of us to a completely different server without even a warning? Without even saying afterward? We were playing together.

Other people are saying this has happened to them as well.

Happened to me last night on AU servers,

Got to level 15 on Eridia, Thinking it was Utopia.

Rather then them adding more servers why not add more instances of the same server??? such a stupid bunch running this show

I cannot believe this. I’m sorry that happened to you, too. It really is unacceptable.

They Tweeted - Hey, here are the server lists! Coordinate with your friends and family to play on a particular server, but what they didn’t say was, “we might just grab one of your friends and family and move them to a completely different server without warning. Good luck playing together!”

My son got to level 14, and got his gathering up to 60+ on each before they decided to yank him off of Babilary. He cannot even make a new character on our server though, because it’s still detecting he has a character there! On his new server, under his name it still says… Babilary. What kind of crap planning was this?

Yep happened to me, lost close to 16 levels and hours of progress. Was ahead quite a bit and now I’m set back so far behind. Not to mention to horrendous queue to try to get back to my friends. Really pissed me off, the queue was bad enough.

I understand launch can be challenging, but moving people randomly without ANY notification OR consent is absolutely ridiculous, making me second guess my prime gaming subscription :frowning:

I really hope they don’t try to say the solution is to wait 2 weeks for their “free transfer”, because that’s not a solution for us.

I hear you about the queue times. We were trying to figure out what was happening by logging in and out, checking the server list and where his name was on those lists, and yet, when he logged in, it still shows his original server. The queue times while all of us were trying to figure out what happened was more than frustrating to deal with.

The no warning was unacceptable already, but not having any messages at all after moving the person is just a huge wtf kind of show are you running? We were all just wondering what happened, and left to frustratingly figure it out ourselves.

I hope they come up with a good solution for us all that this affected, but seeing how this was handled; I doubt it.

I just realized they deleted the bug report I raised yesterday about this, I hope that actually means they reported it as an actual bug -__- still pretty pissed off about it, being ignored by them isn’t really helping either grr.

I hope they don’t ignore this. It’s an MMORPG where they even Tweeted for us to plan which servers to play on TOGETHER. Then they do this without saying a word. It would be great to get a word from someone who can tell us wth happened and how they’re gonna fix it for us.

I don’t know how much smoke was blown up my butt, but the customer service rep was nice enough, and it seemed like they have been dealing with this all day – they escalated the issue as they “don’t have the power to manipulate the character”.

They asked for:

Original Server Name
Transferred Server Name
Character Name
Server Region
and SteamID

I was given a case ID in the end. Hopefully, something will happen. It’s worth a shot for anyone else going through this.

Nevermind. None of this matters. They have moved him randomly again. I found out the moved me today. NONE of us are able to play together. Lots of people are just now realizing they aren’t on the same servers. Check your BIO. Under your name it will show your server. Lots of people have been moved.
