If HWM is reset then so should crafting by this logic.
Some players spent their time crafting instead of grind, and vise versa.
I’ve been running 5 man groups since getting to 60 and do so even now, despite the over tuning.
If you take my HWM away I have nothing. The crafters with the changes still have their crafting lvled. So if we’re gonna do this the only fair option is to reset any craft over 100 to 100. Which would also fuck me over because I have all trade skills between 100-200.
Every single fool with low watermark wants it reset. Everyone that put the work in doesn’t… So reward the lazy, or let people keep the reward they already earned?
Yeah, I think this is an easy one… Anyone saying reset watermark should be banned. Just ban them… They’re ruining this game.

I’m gonna just throw in that you can still equip the same armor you wear, so if your in full 600, but your watermark for each item varies, it will scale to the water mark its at.
Your gear isn’t useless, and as you play it will only get better. Nobodies saying you cant wear what you have. Read the notes. It’s rough because yeah, a lot of players are max watermark and invested, but I don’t believe for a second that crafters will be useless. We have a whole new area to fulfill, such as 550-600 gear, and players who see their watermark know there is no need to buy the best gear, but instead easier to buy affordable crafted gear they want.
I have a full set I wear for int, with perks I choose. Soooo, what? I’m going to lose a little bit of int and armor? Maybe? End of world?

You don’t spend gold to raise HWM other than gear repairs. Crafting lvling costs hundreds of thousands of gold, fyi.
It is WAY WAY too late to implement a change like this. You will be creating a mountain inbetween the people at 600 Water Mark and the people that refused to grind chests all day because it was so boring. If this change is made, you will HAVE TO wipe servers or create new servers that people can not transfer into. Too many people have benefitted from the less optimized stages of the game and exploits. DO NOT DO THIS.

You probably sat your ass in eternal pool with 60 other players hitting a boss that couldn’t fight back and checking chests that had been cleared by the 60 other players in front of you. How fun that must have been. I hope they set yo ass to 500 and burn this game to the ground lol.

we have two options now
First: Glitch farm Chests like all other do… witch is boring
Second: Quit the game… cuz no one should force you to somthing you dont want to do

I spent 500+ hours PvPing and buying gear off the market with my PvP earned gold. This change is dumb lol. Why should I have to play the same way as you to progress when originally I can play my way?
I’ve reach my watermark with a party of 5-7 guild-mates, doing fair runs throught entire areas from nihilo-svikin at 500, to myrkgrad-Pirates to reach 600, day after day, should I be punished?
I dont like it neither… but maybe could be worst to punish a lot of fair players.
I like the game, and I’m having fun since day 1, but if I have to grind again from 500… that will be like a kick in the face.

Yea but they are removing the option to exclusively progress with just buying stuff off the market. I sacrificed time that could be used to enjoy PvP. This is a kick to the face for me and other PvPers who only focused on PvP
Either nobody should or everyone should. With a heavy preference for nobody suffering. That is the debate. No one person should be the arbiter of how this game has to be played.
And since you said none of your gear came from drops, don’t you think all of that grind you did literally means absolutely nothing? You never get good stuff from drops, so all this stupid HWM grind is just to prolong the game so they can add new stuff. There is zero reward for it man
