Thats not true. They changed things from PTR Feedback before for example the Dual stat change they wanted to implement, which got a lot of bad feedback so they didnt change it. That being said I dont have high hopes for balance either. Balance patches need to be more frequent and constantly adapt to the meta, otherwise it will never be close to balanced.

The most funny part about this cycle is that is always the same 4-5 people in the Forums complaing about nerfig a weapon. The ammount of normal players that play the game maybe made 1 post about a weapon or comment once but the same people doing it for a year now.
Can you imagine how crazy that would have been if that went through? You think people complain about musket now but sheeeesh
history has shown us that AGS does not listen to any feedback.
What they think is best is what gets pushed to live.
Regardless of how stupid it is.

as I mentioned earlier, history has shown us both. Its more likely the changes are going to go live but its not inevitable. I would say if it is a change on how the weapons will work fundamentally it may not make it into live, because its not just simple balance tweaks
Lol i have been saying this months. How quickly people forget how mages used to be (nov/dec 2021) and the same people who wanted dex nerfed (melee player) are now about to get their wish. You won’t see many musket any more but when you are cc’d to death by a ig or blown up by a fs it will be hilarious. This game will be in this same dumb nerf buff cycle with mages and dex players as long as they keep listening solely to the melee players.

Yup, the vocal minority, will just find something else to cry about.
The last one was the rapier. Crys for rapier nerfs, filled the forums for a solid bit.
Then they fully moved on to musket, and some went to crying about the hatchet.
Reality is that bad players will stay bad, regardless what gets nerfed.

this will 100% happen. they dont play their game and only listen to the forums and make testing on ptr extremly hard
remember the greatsword was on the ptr for over a month and look how that turned out
imo all those things are deservingg of nerfs. thats called balancing. hatchet not so much imo but rapier was annoying to play against and musket is just overtuned if you disagree then youre on some good copium
thats crazy how AGS did a mistake in the past. I never said they didnt. By the way most people were excited about the GS and Brimstone so not as many complaints about it popped up before release, also they didnt know how to use it back then
So I main musket/bow but decided to give the FS/IG combo a shot because I got good drops from opr crates. (Plus I really miss the flamethrower meta and wanted to test its troll viability again). All I’m gonna say is that mages are HEAVILY slept on, and they haven’t even been buffed yet.
I’m convinced everyone who says mages are worthless are relying on outdated information.
So when they simultaneously nerf all range, nerf GS, and buff magical weapons… GGs.
I am glad I already have several FS builds ready to go, in anticipation of these future buffs!

Rapier did not need such heavy nerfs the only reason it got nerfed is because healer were out playing lmb players who couldn’t think and just hit lmb. But the issue with this forum is every 3-4 month the same lmb players get on the forum and get a weapon nerfed because they can’t left click it death with all the handicaps in the world.

I craft all my own weapons, since I do not want to pay ridiculous amounts of gold for these “BiS” weapons/items, when I can get them either for free in OPR or craft them significantly cheaper as opposed to buying them, whether off the TP or in an individual trade.
Well they didnt really listen when it was highlighted the Musket nerf was actaully a buff, or how GS was OP on PTR already. Majority of the stuff on PTR are preset for release regardless of feedback.
