I am dead and unable to respawn

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I dead-dead and cannot respawn. No timer. No hit the e key. just me dead in the water.
  • Is this a bug? (If this is an exploit, please follow the steps here: [Dev Blog] How to Report Exploits - Updated) Last I checked, you are supposed to be able to respawn after dying.
  • (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: I can no longer play the game.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Not yet. This is the reason I’m writing this in the forum.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: Would love to but I do not see an attachment button. Imagine a picture of a player lying dead in shallow water.
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: die, I guess. This is the first time this has happened to me.
  • When did this happen? (Date and Relative time; please include your timezone): 01/07/2023 08:14 pm EST.

Logging out for 3+ minutes to allow your character to despawn should allow you to respawn.

Pasting in an image should work.

Ok, great news. Being out of the game for 20+ minutes and doing a check on all the game files and a complete shutdown and restart has resolved my issue. I am now able to play the game again.

Would love for Amazon Games to look at the logs(if they exist) and fix whatever issue I ran into.
