I am going to abandon my tier 4 house in disgust

Here is your High Quality Feedback:

I have done the terrible mistake to get baited into buying a new tier 4 house thinking that i will save money with the first discount but the truth is that the tax is so high and it can become so extreme depending on the governor that it is simply stupid to have to pay at least 1.5k coins up to 2k per week ( should be montly ) just to be able to use the perks. And if it is so extreme then at least the players should be refunded with the money if they decide to abandon the house that they bought in the first place even though they do lose the first discount but since that is not the case then i can guess that the system was definitely intended to be punitive from the start.

Do you want to punish us for buying houses and trying to enjoy the game?

I will abandon the house in seven days instead of paying extreme taxes until the end of times and dealing with anxiety.

maybe it seems extreme now, but gold will likely be more plentiful with more 60s running around and exchanging currency. Good points though! If you don’t like your gov, then rally ur allies and declare warr!!!

You can also simply not pay the taxes, AFAIK. You will still own the house and all items inside, the bonuses and recall point will just go dormant until such time as you resume payments again. Which could be when the town leadership changes and lowers the taxes again.

Just a thought.

Except for the part where the governor that needs to be outed is in my faction.
…I don’t own a house but this is going to be a problem even without houses.
People are going to find that companies/governors in their own faction need to be kicked out of town.
I wonder if there should be a faction-internal way to change who runs a town…

Don’t show up for the war. Let the company fight their own battles then.

So you’re saying theres a political subgame to this as well I like it even more.

I forgot to add that i will abandon the tier 4 house in one week instead of paying absurd taxes every seven days and i will just buy some random tier 1 houses that i will use only for trophies since they give significant advantages with multiple houses ( the irony is that the taxes paid per week will eventually surpass the money that we paid for the whole house in just a few months ).

The issue is that the trophies can give such significant advantages that the players will need and will want to have three houses eventually.

By the way, did anyone notice that listing items at the trading post for a fee and then selling them for a deduction can take up to 20% of the entire profit as the seller? While the buyer also has an increase of up to 10% extra fee when buying items from the trading post? And that is with moderate taxes set by the governors.

p.s. who could have thought that the end game content is about paying taxes for houses

What do you mean? It is Amazon making the game and they just love paying taxes.

That doesn’t work sadly. I have the same situation that my main city owned by my faction is the only one in first 6 zones with high taxes and quite some people hope they loose at war. But that is not happining. They already won two wars because it is the leading faction on the server :expressionless:.

I will just go with three houses and pay 1k taxes for x3 chests and x5 trophies instead of paying 1.5k tax for x5 chests and x5 trophies.

Problem solved.
